A perfect morning meditation to set a framework for success and calmness throughout the day. This meditation uses awareness of breath, stillness, visualization, and silence to create an accessible practice for anyone who desires to create a good morning routine. Inspiring, gentle music plays throughout the meditation.

Transcript

Good morning.

Before we start the day,

Let's take a few minutes together to set an intention,

Find calm and balance,

And prepare to accomplish all of our goals and to be the best versions of ourselves we can be today.

Let's find a comfortable position and close the eyes.

Begin to relax the shoulders.

Begin to turn your attention inward.

Let's take a deep inhale together and exhale,

Let it go.

Again deep inhale and exhale,

Let it go.

Last time,

Deep inhale and exhale,

Release the breath.

Notice how only a few moments of stillness begins to relax the body.

Notice how focusing on the breath begins to quiet the mind.

For the next few moments,

Continue to breathe with awareness,

Focusing on the inhale and the exhale.

And if thoughts begin to arise,

Or if thoughts come and go,

Allow the thoughts to pass across the landscape of the mind.

Perhaps imagine the mind is a perfect blue sky,

And each thought is simply a cloud passing through the landscape.

Continue to breathe consciously.

Continue to settle into your position,

And continue to prepare to have an amazing day.

Let's begin to bring our attention back into the present moment.

Bringing your awareness back into the physical body.

And before we open the eyes,

Before we start the day,

Let's take a deep inhale together,

And exhale,

Let it go.

Now remember throughout the day,

If we become agitated,

Or doubtful,

Or impatient,

Or fearful,

Or if we're overcome by any feeling or emotion.

Remember this meditation.

Remember how only a few moments of breathing consciously,

And how only a few moments of stillness allow us to find calm,

And balance,

And peace.

Let's gently blink the eyes open.

Have a beautiful day.
