Laughter actually is the best medicine! When was the last time you laughed so hard you couldn't control yourself? How incredible did that feel? Were you less stressed after that experience? Did you have less body pain? Did you feel more connected to those you laughed with? There is a growing body of research connecting laughter with so many positive and healing states (mentally and physically)! This meditation invites our cells to reconnect with the best medicine in nature, laughter!

Hello wonderful human.

You could just take a nice deep breath in and a nice relaxing exhale.

For the next few minutes,

I offer you the opportunity to connect in with the joyful,

Playful,

Relaxed energy that comes with laughter.

Now you don't have to pretend to be happy,

But what you can do is actually activate the parts of your body,

The electromagnetic signals in yourselves to communicate to your brain,

To remember what it feels like to laugh.

So what I'd like you to do is just close your eyes if it feels safe to do that.

And I'd like you to go back in time in your imagination and remember a time when you were just helplessly laughing at whatever age,

Maybe it was last week,

Maybe last year,

Maybe when you were a child.

Just go back to that time,

That memory of pure laughter when you had no control and you were just laughing helplessly.

You couldn't control it.

That beautiful feeling.

And just pretend for a moment that you're there and feel what it feels like.

Notice who's with you.

You can start to feel those higher vibration emotions and you can just allow them in.

And I'd like you to take a few minutes right now and laugh like you were laughing in that moment.

Just allow that laughter to come in,

Whether it's a giggle or a belly laugh,

Whether you're rolling around on the floor,

Holding your belly,

Flailing around,

Do whatever is right.

Do whatever comes with that laugh and just allow it to flow through you.

And as you're doing this,

I'm going to share with you one of my personal giggles.

And if that is something that you would rather not hear,

Feel free to just pause the recording right now and get into that moment.

But if you need a little help,

A little encouragement,

Because laughter is extremely contagious,

You can just allow my giggle to start you off and just see if you start to giggle,

See if you start to laugh.

And perhaps you can notice as you're laughing where in your body you're feeling that.

Where does that laughter happen?

Is it everywhere?

Is it in your heart?

Is it in your legs or your arms?

You can become aware of that.

But,

As that moment occurs,

Recognize that here's what I'm saying to you.

Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm.

Hmm.

Mm-hmm.

Oh clears throat seat humming pounds music continues oooo Bursts Truth is certainly here on Earth.

We should protect ourselves with divinity,

In as little as we can in the world now.
