Introduction To Walking Meditation

With Aaron Hugh Bach

Do you enjoy meditation but have been looking for a different way to meditate? In this introductory course, I will go over the fundamentals of walking meditation. As opposed to normal meditation where you are usually still in a static spot, walking meditation is a mindfulness practice that involves walking slowly while maintaining awareness of your body, breath, and surroundings. Unlike traditional seated meditation where you focus on your breath or a mantra, in walking meditation, you bring your attention to the physical sensations of walking. This is an excellent alternative or supportive method if you are looking to be more physically healthy as part of your overall well being. This course talks about what walking meditation is, some of the fundamentals, and how to practice it. Although this might sound simple, there techniques and practices to be aware of so that you get the most out of walking meditation and make sure you're doing it right.
