  • Tarot, Reiki, herbalism, somatic movement & ritual in a Brooklyn healing center, NYC retreat blending community, reflection, and witchy wellness.

Details

Welcome to Celestial Reclamation, a warm and intimate Brooklyn retreat created as a sanctuary to slow down, breathe, and return to yourself. Held in a sun-filled healing space designed for connection and calm, this experience is intentionally small and deeply personal, allowing you to step away from the noise of daily life and into a supportive, grounded community. This retreat is rooted in the belief that ritual, meaning-making, and sacred tools help us remember parts of ourselves that modern life often quiets. Celestial Reclamation is about returning to your inner magic—reclaiming intuition, balance, authenticity, and your connection to something larger than the day-to-day. Through gentle guidance and shared experience, you’ll explore practices that invite you back into your own rhythm and inner knowing. The day is designed to feel nurturing, welcoming, and spacious—like stepping into a peaceful temple in the middle of the city. You can expect a balance of reflection, connection, movement, and rest. The atmosphere is cozy, nature-inspired, and softly magical, offering a place where you can show up exactly as you are. By the end of the retreat, you’ll leave feeling grounded, inspired, and reconnected to your own inner guidance—supported by community and the reminder that your magic has always been within you.

Schedule

Your day begins at 9:00 AM as you arrive and are warmly welcomed into a beautiful healing space in Brooklyn at Grand Street Healing Project — a community-centered wellness space created with the belief that our collective wellbeing is intertwined. The studio is light-filled, grounding, and intentionally designed to feel like a peaceful sanctuary in the middle of the city. Snacks will be also readily availble to keep you fueled and nourished. Herbalism table: Soft music will be playing as everyone settles in, pours tea, and begins creating their personal herbal tea sachets from a selection of nourishing herbs such as lavender, chamomile, rose, and mint, etc. During this gentle arrival window, you’ll also choose your animal oracle card, which will act as a symbolic guide throughout the retreat. At 9:30 AM, we officially open with a guided grounding meditation and welcome circle, setting intentions for the day and introducing the theme of Celestial Reclamation — returning to the wisdom, intuition, and inner magic that already lives within you. From 10:00–10:45 AM, we explore the concept of the witch wound (or wound of othering) and how ritual, symbolism, and meaning-making have existed across cultures as tools for healing and belonging. We’ll gently introduce the four elements — earth, air, fire, and water — and how they show up in nature, in our bodies, and in everyday life. Through guided journaling and reflection, you’ll explore how reclaiming ritual can help rebuild self-trust, authenticity, and inner authority. The herbs chosen earlier in the morning will be revisited as elemental allies, connecting personal ritual with everyday wellness. From 10:45–11:30 AM, we transition into astrology and tarot as reflective tools for self-awareness. Together we’ll pull a collective tarot card, then move into a small-group reflection exercise designed to spark connection, conversation, and shared insight. At 11:30 AM, we shift into community connection time, allowing space for conversation, integration, and grounding before lunch. At 12:00 PM, we pause for a nourishing Brooklyn lunch break and relaxed community time. After lunch, from 12:45–1:15 PM, we move into gentle embodied movement and somatic release, using breath, grounding movement, and optional expressive dance to wake up the body and release stored tension. From 1:15–1:45 PM, you’ll be invited into a deeply restorative Reiki-infused sound bath and guided visualization, offering space to rest, integrate, and reconnect inward. We close the retreat from 1:45–2:00 PM with a release and integration ritual, reflection circle, and intention setting so you leave feeling grounded, supported, and reconnected to yourself. The retreat concludes at 2:00 PM, allowing everyone to head home well before Halloween festivities begin in the city.

Testimonials

info

Liza always creates a safe space to talk through creating a life that aligns with one’s values and purpose. Her coaching sessions feel like she’s holding your hand and gently pushing you to critically think about your life — and make intentions with confidence. My journey with her began in 2021 when I was reassessing my job and questioning if I wanted to stay with my company. I didn’t! I’ll be starting a new job soon that is a better fit culturally and is the exact role I spoke about — but didn’t know existed. I manifested the transition that I’m going through. And while there were some hardships, I saw those moments as growth. A little discomfort when one is morphing is par for the course. Liza’s sessions were part of my spiritual toolkit that helped me to remain patient and stay focused on my purpose. She’s a gift!

I loved every bit of my meditation with Liza. Her empathy, calmness, and loving energy reassured me that I've found my spiritual coach! I appreciate the space to help me be present in the moment and go deep into my desires and feelings. It's one thing to hear Liza on Insight Timer and then to have a personal 1:1 confirmed where I'm at on my spiritual journey!
