He's In The Waiting
In this faith-based meditation, Vanessa guides you through a practice of trusting God in the waiting. Through breath, reflection, and scripture-based affirmations, you will be invited to release the need for control, surrender to God’s perfect timing, and rest in His unwavering faithfulness. No matter what season you are in, God is moving, God is working, and you are never waiting alone.

God,
I'm not sure what you are doing in this season.
I'm not sure when my prayers will be answered,
But what I do know is that you are able.
That you are the same God who brought me out of so many situations before,
That healed in miraculous ways,
That brought the greatest blessings into my life.
I will trust you in the waiting,
For I know that you are the same faithful,
Unfailing God,
Yesterday,
Today,
And forever.
As we begin this meditation,
Friend,
I want you to be fully present.
Removing any distractions that may be around you and welcome God's presence.
Welcome God's love.
Welcome his gentle hold and support in this moment.
Settle into your position.
Settle into your comfortable position,
Allowing your body to relax and your heart to become still.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose.
And slowly exhale through your mouth.
Again,
Inhaling deeply.
Exhaling slowly,
Just releasing and letting everything else go.
Let your breath be an offering of surrender.
Let your breath be an act of trust.
God is here.
His love surrounds you.
His hands are holding you.
God,
We will trust you in the waiting,
For you are the same faithful,
Unfailing God,
Yesterday,
Today,
And forever.
As you breathe,
Reflect on these words.
Waiting is not wasted time.
Waiting is an invitation to deeper trust.
You may not have the answers yet.
You may not see the way forward.
But God is already working.
Even in the unseen,
Even in the unknown,
He is moving.
Take a deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Release the need to know.
Breathe in trust.
Breathe out fear.
Breathe in patience.
Breathe out frustration.
Breathe in faith.
Breathe out doubt.
But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength.
They shall mount up on wings like eagles.
They shall run and not be weary.
They shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40,
31 But they who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.
They shall mount up with wings like eagles.
They shall run and not be weary.
They shall walk and not faint.
God is not just in the outcome.
He is in the waiting too.
And you are never waiting alone.
Take one more deep breath in.
And slowly let it go.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes,
Moving forward with peace,
Knowing that while you wait,
God is working,
God is leading,
God is with you.
Amen.
