The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.
Carl Young.
Allow yourself to settle into some stillness.
Tuning into what will feel most supportive for you right now,
Whether that's seated,
Lying down,
Or maybe you need some movement and are ready to go for a walk.
Tune in to what your body needs.
I welcome and acknowledge you for being here.
Today's meditation is focused on soul work.
Together,
We'll start with four rounds of fox breathing to activate safety and security in your body.
Breathing in through your nose for a count of 4,
3,
2,
1.
Hold at the top,
4,
3,
2,
1.
Open mouth,
Exhale,
4,
3,
2,
1.
And hold,
4,
3,
2,
1.
Inhale,
Hold.
Exhale,
Hold.
Inhale,
Hold.
Exhale,
Hold.
Inhale,
Hold.
Exhale,
And hold.
Big inhale.
Cleansing exhale.
Feel what it is like to be alive as you in this moment,
With this mind,
With this heart,
And with this body.
Be fully present to whatever arises with kindness and curiosity.
Notice your hands,
Your beating heart,
The surface beneath you.
All symbols holding you in your aliveness.
On this next inhale,
Breathing into your heart space.
On the exhale,
Allowing your shoulders to soften.
On the next inhale,
Inviting in love into your heart.
And on the exhale,
Allowing your face muscles to soften.
On this next inhale,
Breathing in self-trust into your heart.
And on the exhale,
Allowing your entire body to soften,
To sink into this moment,
To give yourself this gift.
Feel your mind,
Body,
And soul fully arrive.
And whenever you notice your mind wandering,
Gently inviting it back to the breath.
Here is where we practice mindfulness.
You don't need to nail it,
We just get to practice.
We'll focus on the four soul questions.
Not asking or looking for answers,
But simply tuning into whatever arrives into your consciousness,
Into your space.
Notice what sensations you can sense in your body,
What images surface,
What feelings or emotions come up,
What thoughts get stirred.
You do not need to answer these questions.
You get to sit with them.
The first question is,
Who am I?
Who am I?
The second question is,
What do I want?
What do I want?
The third question,
What is my purpose?
What is my purpose?
And the last question,
What am I grateful for?
What am I grateful for?
These questions represent the essence or the qualia of your soul.
Allowing the feeling of this soul essence to surround your heart,
And to create a soul glow,
Radiating from the inside out.
John O'Donohue says,
Your soul knows the geography of your destiny.
Your soul alone has the map of your future.
Inviting in a deep inhale,
A cleansing exhale.
Floating your hands to rest on top of your heart.
Acknowledging the love and soul essence within,
And acknowledging all emotions and all experiences that you carry,
Because all of you matters.
Whenever you feel ready,
Allowing some gentle movements back into your body.
Opening your eyes.
Returning to your space.
Sending love and peace.
