Break the Patterns That Hold You Back. Most people arrive at this retreat because the mind won’t stop talking. Or because they’ve been so absorbed in the day-to-day that they haven’t had the space to step back and see what is actually shaping their lives. In short, they find themselves caught in deeper patterns that keep resurfacing and quietly influencing how they think, react, and move through life. Most of the time, these patterns run automatically, which is why simply “trying to think differently” rarely works. The purpose of this retreat is to help you step back from those patterns and see them clearly. In yoga, this shift is known as Pratyahara — the moment the mind stops reacting automatically and clarity begins to emerge. You will learn and practice a precise yogic breathing method rooted in Vāsi Yoga. This is a breath-centered discipline that naturally settles the nervous system. It leads into meditative states where reflection and clarity emerge on their own. Each guest receives an EEG brainwave scanner during meditation sessions, providing simple real-time feedback. You can see when your mind and body have genuinely settled — no guesswork. Even guests new to meditation often experience noticeable shifts in focus, steadiness, and inner quiet within just a few days. If you are genuinely interested in exploring lineage-based yoga and bringing real clarity into your life, this retreat offers a rare opportunity. You leave not only feeling renewed, but with a practical breathwork and meditation practice you can continue using long after the retreat ends.

Food at this retreat is not catering — it is part of the practice. Every meal is prepared using handcrafted spice blends from an in-house spice studio, where each blend is made from scratch using traditional Indian methods. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all vegetarian, nourishing, and designed to support deep nervous system work throughout the day. Cooking lessons are woven into the retreat schedule. You will learn the science behind Indian spicing — why certain combinations work, how to build flavor, and how to prepare wholesome, restaurant-quality Indian meals in under 15 minutes at home. This is a practical skill you take home and use for life. Most people spend a significant amount eating out because cooking Indian food at home feels complicated or time-consuming. After this retreat, it is neither. You will cook better Indian food than most restaurants serve — faster, healthier, and at a fraction of the cost. Guests consistently say the food alone is worth the trip.

One of the Most Memorable Experiences of my Life I’ve been practicing yoga since 1973, and must say that what I learned here through this beautiful soul, Harish, is much more than inspiring. I feel blessed and honored to have Google stumbled upon this wonderful yogic breath retreat. Harish is a very humble man but also keenly knowledgeable, patient, generous, down to earth, and a fantastic cook to say the least. He also has a great sense of humor and lots of laughs were shared with him and the other guest. Another great bonus - small, intimate class sizes for dedicated instructions with care and camaraderie. So, I’m calling all yogis and yogini’s, as I like to say, “ if you don’t know Harish you don’t know jack about yoga. “ He is a true inspiration, sharing his knowledge and wisdom with the students fortunate enough to find him. You will leave feeling lighter, healthier, happier, and eager to continue what you learn from him. If you have the time, I suggest the 10 day vs 4 because you won’t want it to end. You will look and feel younger, better, without any of the traditional rigorous work. I always felt that the (pranic) breath work was extremely discounted and overlooked in the west, so discovering a great teacher of these ancient techniques is a rare gift. As if this wasn’t enough, Harish is also a great cook! His food is simply delicious and almost effortlessly prepared using his incredible blends. He is happy to teach us how to prepare mouth-watering Indian foods. As a mother who did lots of cooking, I already knew my way around the kitchen, but I learned so many new dishes, tips and tricks that I can’t wait to try out on my family and friends. I’ve traveled much of the world and have been to India twice. This is truly one of the most memorable experiences of my life. So many thanks to you, dear Harish!

A breathwork Retreat Like No Other I recently had the privilege of attending the 3-day reset breathwork retreat hosted by Harish, and I can honestly say it’s an experience I will never forget. Words almost fail to describe the impact it had on me—not just physically or mentally, but on a soul level. I went in carrying a lot and came out feeling lighter, clearer, and more deeply connected to myself than I have in a very long time. The breathwork sessions were unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. They were intense, beautiful, and at times completely unexplainable. Harish guided us with such grounded wisdom and care, creating a safe space where I could truly let go. Each session brought something new to the surface—grief, clarity and joy. But this retreat was more than just breathwork. Harish also shared his passion for Indian cooking, teaching us to create incredible dishes using his own handcrafted spice blends. The food we cooked and shared felt like nourishment on every level. This retreat was a reset in the truest sense of the word. It was a pause, a deep breath, a reminder of who I am beneath the noise. If you're going through something, or even if you're not, I couldn’t recommend this experience more. Harish doesn’t just host a retreat—he holds a sacred space for transformation. Thank you, Harish. I’ll carry this with me always.

Amazing Experience that Provided me with Clarity and Peace. I just returned from this amazing weekend retreat. Like many people I was under a lot of stress and looking for clarity, uncertain aspects of my future relationships, career, etc. I had recently watched the movie “Eat, Pray Love“. if you haven’t seen it, I would recommend it. Julia Roberts is searching for clarity and takes a trip to India, where she learns breathing techniques, meditation, etc. While I enjoyed the movie, which is based on a true story, a trip to India is just not feasible for me. But thanks to the universe, India came to me! I met Harish through this website. Having read the reviews, looking at his website and retreat offerings, it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for.I found this to be an amazing experience that provided me with clarity and peace. The website and course online as a guide to continue to practice at home are a resource I will definitely use.I also opted to complete the astrology chart, which provided valuable insights into my own behavior patterns. This will allow me to reflect and make choices differently based on this information. Harish is a great host, instructor, and cook. I enjoyed the cooking lessons as well.Accommodations were clean and comfortable. His home is set in a very peaceful setting, allowing for a wonderful space for quiet reflection.

Harish's program offers a rare blend of personal attention, deep spiritual insight, and holistic learning. With only a few students per session (I was the only one in mine), Harish provides full, undivided attention and teaches from real-life experience rather than theory. His teaching is grounded in his personal journey—learning from various Siddhas across South India. He also provided materials which are detailed and thoughtfully compiled, blending practices from Vaasi Yoga, Shat Kriya, and Panch Vayu kriya. As a bonus, the meals were exceptional—flavored with handcrafted Beyond Masalas that made cooking feel effortless. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an authentic, experiential path.

Left With Knowledge That I’ll Carry With Me For A Lifetime I went to the retreat with no expectations, other than to deepen my knowledge and find a bit of inner peace through silence. The location was wonderful, the valley is beautiful, I highly recommend taking a little walk. The food definitely exceeded my expectations: flavorful, nourishing, delicious, and beautifully presented. It was truly one of the highlights of the weekend. However, the greatest highlight was Harish himself! His warmth, kindness, and genuine willingness to help. He broke down every concept so clearly, ensuring I understood not just the theory but also how to apply it in practice. We were 2, and it allowed us to go in depth at every step.He also used this small device, EEG scanner , to scan brain electrical activity and measure concentration levels. We did the first scan on Friday and repeated it on Saturday after all the theory work , and it was incredible to see how much my concentration during meditation had improved. His guidance is truly remarkable. I left with knowledge that I’ll carry with me for a lifetime and can continue to apply as I grow.

Highly Recommended This retreat was a meaningful shift from my usual solo experiences. Sharing the journey with others reminded me of the power of community—each person’s path unique, yet connected. Harish’s gentle guidance made every activity, from cooking and resting to breathing techniques and silence, feel intentional and peaceful. The space was comfortable, the meals flavorful with his spices and herbs, and the atmosphere deeply restorative. I look forward to future retreats with more days of silence, and would highly recommend this to anyone seeking a shared experience in a smaller group. Thank you, Harish, for sharing this experience with others.

Solid Understanding of Breathwork I wanted to establish a meditation practice for myself. I liked the smaller group size and attention given to each participant and the duration was perfect for a first retreat on meditation. I developed a solid understanding of breathwork as it relates to meditation and cultivated a practice that I could use consistently at home.

I needed to learn yoga and meditation to cope with stress and to bring clarity. I chose this retreat because I wanted to immerse myself fully, away from the noise, surrounded by nature and community, to accelerate learning in ways traditional settings can't. I learned Vassi yoga and meditation, and cooking Indian vegetarian meals. Be prepared to be attentive and learn. This is a structured class with frequent breaks.

Perfect Reset Retreat for My Birthday When I was in college, I was diagnosed with attention deficit disorder (ADD) and felt like I was never sure whether or not I was meditating correctly. I am a teacher and I also really wanted to get away and refresh my mind before the new school year. Initially, I booked this retreat as a birthday gift to myself. Though I did have to drive a few hours away from my home, it was well worth it. As a mother of 2, I needed this reset. Harish understood my concern with being able to meditate, and also seeing whether or not i'm actually making progress. I use the e ee g several times and I have very tangible results that show where I started and where I ended up. My concentration level went up over 60%. I'm so grateful to Harish for not only teaching concentration, but also I learned so much about my own mind. I operate and move through conversations and situations differently since I came home. Less stress and irritation. I also learned to cook indian dishes and have already made two at home! My 11-year-old daughter keeps saying that she is "so glad I went to the cooking class". Bring home some spices!!! You will be happy you did!!! Also, there is a beekeeper who sells honey down the road. Definitely grab a jar!

Great Retreat for Learning Authentic Vaasi Yoga It was highly rated. I liked the woods and nature part in the photos. Loved Vaasi Yoga. Harish is a great teacher, and I loved his cooking too. He did the brainwave scans before and after the sessions. The progress was incredible

Thank You Harish I felt that I wasn't moving forward. This retreat offers a kind of knowing that no book can hold, no lecture can deliver, and no argument can prove. I was able to meet people and mix introspection and interaction.

I chose this retreat to help with understanding my emotions, anxiety, and the way I process my thoughts. This retreat touched on different yoga breathing techniques, meditation. This retreat made me aware of a lot of my emotions and how to work through them. I left this retreat feeling lighter mentally. Harish was so knowledgeable about the practice, great cook. The food was delicious! If you are on the journey for self-improvement and self-care… this is it!

I wanted to find inner peace. I ended up choosing this retreat because there were very good reviews. What I like the most about this retreat, Harish used an EEG scanner to monitor the electrical brain activity and the concentration levels. I was surprised to see how my thoughts were racing, but gradually through repeated sessions of breathwork, my mindbegann to settle and I was able to concentrate. I was amazed!! I came back a different person with a clear understanding of breathwork and how it's the key to deep concentration. I also gained some knowledge of the real yoga. The location was very peaceful and wonderful. Harish is a great host, very kind, patient, who makes you feel at home right away. The room was very cozy and the food was beyond my expectations. He taught me a few recipes that I tried right away at home.

Harish is an Amazing Person and Teacher I wanted to get away from personal and professional stressors and to learn a discipline that will help me navigate life more peacefully. I liked that it is geared to just 1 to 2 people at a time, so the instructor can devote more time to his students. After attending this retreat, I've continued the practice at home. I've noticed how much calmer I feel after practicing the breathing techniques. I learned a practice that I can easily continue at home, and should I need further instructions, Harish makes himself available to offer guidance when needed. Harish is an amazing person and teacher. He is very approachable, he explains the practice in a manner that makes sense. He has a passion for teaching, is a strong communicator, he is very engaging and empathetic, not to mention a great cook!

Silvia Cadello, United States

Amazing Retreat I wanted to deepen my breathwork and meditation practice. It offered an intimate environment to learn and reset. It included silence for most of the retreat which is crucial for resetting and focus. The morning breathwork (Shat Kriya) is energizing and brings to life my morning routine. Vasi Yoga helped me go deep into my breathwork. I left the retreat excited to continue the practice in my daily life! Harish is great! He developed an amazing program combining the essential aspects of his teachings into an accelerated program. Harish invited us into his home and provided comfort, great food, and a wealth of knowledge!!

Best Retreat Ever I was overworked and stressed out. I signed up for the retreat for a weekend getaway to unplug from the world around me, and this retreat gave me that and a lot more. In the end, I felt more relaxed. At the end of the weekend, my body felt healthy, my mind was clear, and I could control my breath and thoughts to reduce anxiety. The Yoga he teaches is all about the mind and how to control your thoughts and mindset. For me, this was a reset retreat. The food was amazing and he taught you how to make it.

Exceptional and Life Changing Experience I decided to go on this retreat after experiencing a breakup with a partner of 7 years about 6 months ago. I was also recently diagnosed with various mental health conditions so I needed to take a break from reality. I decided to go to this retreat because I was intrigued to learn more about the techniques and lessons offered. I also wanted to learn about my birth chart reading to see if I could discover further information about who I am and why I do the things I do. I experienced mental clarity, understanding about myself, and learned the power and importance of breathing to learn how to let go of anything that does not serve me. It allowed me to take time to reflect truly on myself. I learned to take a chance and not be afraid of what could happen. This retreat allowed me to have a complete reset mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, and guided me towards truly learning to love myself and set intentions for the future.

Kamy, United States

I came to this retreat during a deeply difficult time. I was navigating the emotional weight of a breakup and feeling overwhelmed by regret, shame, and guilt. What I found was far more than just a place to escape. It was a space to reconnect. Harish’s teachings were especially transformative. His insight about the breath being the fundamental root from which our thoughts and feelings arise gave me a new way to understand and regulate my internal world. Learning how to work with my breath helped me stay grounded, especially when my emotions felt overwhelming. Instead of spiraling into anxiety, I began to respond with greater clarity and presence. The retreat environment itself was also incredibly supportive. The setting, the structure, and the community created a safe space for honest reflection and growth. The food was another unexpected gift: nourishing, healthy, and genuinely delicious. Every meal felt like a continuation of the care and intention behind the retreat itself. This experience didn’t just help me feel better. It gave me tools I will carry forward. I’m truly grateful.

More Grounded in General My Mom and I went on this retreat due to high stress in our lives. We were familiar with meditation, but there was a disconnect. This retreat helped us connect to our breath again and remain grounded. I felt more grounded in general, learned a lot of useful information, and breathing techniques. The food was really delicious!

Natalia, United States

Harish is a great host, you can tell he really honors the practice and wants to share it with others to improve their lives. I learned a lot about mediation from him and this changed my approach towards it. The meals he made were delicious and nourishing! I was worried that the cooking would be a bit gimmicky bc he blends and sells his own spice mixes but it was not like that at all! He taught us super convenient recipes used in van life which was awesome. Lastly as a solo female traveler, I felt safe and comfortable at the retreat. My only minor complaint was that it was a little cold but other than that, good vibes all around.

Extremely knowledgeable and well-studied pranayama teacher Harish is an extremely knowledgeable and well-studied pranayama teacher and practitioner. Not only does he understand the practice the way it was taught to him by his master, but he also thinks outside the box and finds ways to explain the practice through a scientific lens, and how it fits into our lives from a greater perspective. Rather than relying on blind faith, he walks his students through why the practice works and what is happening as we feel the changes in our own bodies. Harish offers far more knowledge for a fraction of the cost of most yoga centers and teachers.

Anirudh Hari, United States

Very Grateful Harish was a great teacher and a great cook. Very knowledgeable and happy to teach others. Very down-to-earth person. It was a great experience and comfortable accommodations. I'm very happy to be a part of this journey.

The best pranayama teacher Having attended many yoga classes and pranayama/breathing I can say Harish is the best pranayama teacher I have experienced. He is systematic and explains the deeper meaning and benefits very well. I have been practicing for a few years now and seen significant improvement in my health and my overall well-being

Gayatri Narayan, United States

A great teacher, very sincere, he looks out for our well-being. I have learned some breathing exercises through my different yoga classes. Still, my yoga teachers could never clearly explain the technique and what the different breath control exercises do. With Inner Transformation Yoga, right from the first day, Harish clearly explained the goal, and the path and demonstrated them with personal examples. Every breath control technique was explained clearly - what, why, how, when, and what not to do. Harish is a great teacher, very sincere, he looks out for our well-being. He inspires us to commit to the practice and keeps encouraging us. He makes sure this doesn’t just end with the 3-week instruction but goes on to become part of your life.
