It's a misconception that you need to do something first,
Besides bringing your attention here.
There's no specific path to your deeper self.
You need only to get out of your own way by relaxing into just being.
Just breathing a few deep breaths,
All the while setting the intention to allow this experience to come to you.
You can begin by finding a relaxing position and looking straight up at your eyebrows.
Now take a great big satisfying deep breath in,
Feel your abdomen expand and close your eyes as you slowly exhale.
Again,
Looking up,
Take another big beautiful deep breath in all the way and notice the sensation of melting as you close your eyes and slowly breathe out.
One more time looking right up,
Take a full breath in and let everything soften as you exhale,
Keeping your eyes closed now.
Continue breathing in a natural easy way and you might begin to feel that easiness spreading into all the tiny muscles around your eyes.
Drifting down into your cheeks and into your jaw,
Relaxing your tongue.
Imagine a warm wave softening into your neck and shoulders.
Just gradually flowing into a state of deep calm and stillness.
Going all the way in so you can choose to let go and let this happen.
So relaxed now you might notice only the sound of your breathing.
Or just the sound of my voice.
Perhaps the sensation of drifting along easily and as you drop deeper into this restful state it may seem just like floating down a peaceful river.
Maybe a riverbank passing by at an easy pace.
Or late afternoon sunshine through tall leafy trees sprinkling sunlight on this pleasant and peaceful place.
Effortlessly drifting along the river and allowing yourself to become aware of simply being in this moment.
But nothing to bother you.
Nothing to disturb you.
Nothing to get in your way.
You are about to go deeper into an experience that will help you in your life.
A type of transition just like the world naturally transitions from sunset to night.
You already hold more power than you know.
The unhealthy habits and limiting beliefs that have held you back may have seemed beyond your control and yet it is only you who can control letting them go.
Imagine up in this night sky a bank of thick clouds obscuring the light of the moon.
These clouds float between your states of consciousness.
As you lift up and rise closer to the silver lined clouds you can begin to shed the beliefs and behaviors that no longer serve you.
Even old unnecessary pains can be let go here.
Letting them fall away and dissolve into the cool night air.
The higher you go the more they drop away.
Letting go of those limiting beliefs and behaviors that no longer serve you.
Letting them all go as you go higher.
Just letting this happen.
Imagine now opening up further just as the clouds are beginning to separate.
Revealing a brilliant moon in the crisp clean accepting night sky.
The moon has never seemed brighter or closer.
And behind the moon all the planets align in a cosmic eclipse to provide a clear passage through to a deeper state of consciousness.
Opening fully the clouds have all drifted aside so you can pass through into a stillness found by being in this moment.
Allowing it to happen.
You can just give your conscious mind permission to let your mind wander because I'm speaking directly to your unconscious mind now.
You can begin to imagine a vision of yourself on the other side glowing with the light of love.
This is your higher self.
Physically radiant with health and strength.
Emotionally balanced and confident.
And mentally focused and aware.
Your higher self shines with an indescribably powerful love.
With this higher self there are no conflicts to resolve.
No conflicts with others and no conflicts within yourself.
How it's happened doesn't matter.
What matters is that you become aware of what your life would be like without any conflicts.
Just imagine your life without any misunderstandings.
Without hurt feelings.
In an open and expanded awareness sense yourself drifting silently towards your higher self just as it moves toward you.
Gliding effortlessly where you know deep down this opportunity to heal yourself physically and emotionally will bring harmony to all areas of your mind and body.
And with all good intentions and only with your permission you can imagine being beside this wonderful glowing version of yourself.
Connecting to and absorbing the energy you would like to bring into your life in any way that feels right for you.
You might begin to feel or sense the deep restorative healing power.
The rebalancing and harmony radiating to every cell and particle in you.
Imagine now this beautiful version of you asking without words if there is anything more you need right now.
If there is accept the changes wherever they're needed.

And now as the clouds return you can imagine yourself floating softly down like a snowflake approaching a clean white blanket of snow getting closer and closer.
And only when all the changes are completed will you finally settle gently on the ground having returned refreshed and renewed here and now feeling better than ever before.
And every time you take in a deep breath you'll be reminded of how good you feel with these positive changes.
