Transcript

Hello and welcome.

My name is Pratiga.

This meditation is for anyone.

Who has been feeling emotionally overwhelmed,

Uncertain,

Or quietly struggling within themselves.

For the next few moments together,

Allow yourself simply to sit.

And to be comfortable.

And take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath.

And be here.

This meditation is called There is nothing wrong with you.

Have you lately been carrying feelings that are causing you to feel unsure or overwhelmed?

You may be finding it difficult to sleep.

Perhaps not eating as much.

Staying home,

Spending more time by yourself.

It may feel like there is a knot in your stomach.

And you're not sure why you feel this way.

You feel confused.

Inadequate.

Finding it difficult to explain what you're feeling to someone else because you don't really know how to explain.

What you are feeling.

These are very private feelings that you wish to keep to yourself.

Because you do not want anyone to judge you.

To think you are different.

Or that they.

.

.

Maybe something wrong with you.

These feelings may leave you feeling anxious.

Afraid.

Uncertain.

Confused.

Feeling lonely?

Perhaps feeling that others will not understand.

What you are feeling.

But now that we are here together.

Is it important for you to know?

After hearing these words.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with you.

Your feelings are real and I hear you.

Feeling unsure,

Sad,

Tired?

Or emotionally overwhelmed is part of the human experience.

And there is no shame in feeling this way,

Or in feeling deeply.

You do not need to judge yourself for having human feelings.

For this show's great sensitivity,

Which is beautiful.

We all go through periods of learning to understand and manage our emotions.

Sometimes this can be a little bumpy.

And you can be sure that what you are feeling is real.

What you are trying to understand or figure out.

Has been felt experienced by many other people.

Before you.

The confusion,

Lack of clarity.

The weight of anxiety you are carrying.

Your longing to be seen and truly understood.

You wish to feel safe within yourself.

These are deeply human feelings that can appear.

So you are not alone in feeling the way you do.

Many people carry similar feelings as they navigate with their life.

The pressures of growing up.

Going to school.

Becoming a teenager.

Entering adulthood.

Starting a new career.

Look around.

You are not alone.

And gently try not to compare yourself with anyone else.

There are many people also searching for meaning.

Searching for a sense of belonging.

Searching for their purpose,

Their place in the world.

Searching to feel safe enough to simply be happy.

As themselves.

And being alone for some time does not mean you are forgotten.

Unworthy or separate from life.

Often what hurts the most is not only the feeling itself.

But believing one must carry it alone.

So for this moment allow yourself to stop fighting with your thoughts or your feelings.

You do not need to solve everything with the thinking mind.

Sometimes the mind searches endlessly for certainty.

While the heart quietly longs simply to rest.

And just as the eyes cannot fully see themselves.

The mind cannot always think its way out.

Into peace or calm.

So for now,

Allow yourself simply to be here.

You do not need to become someone else.

You do not need to prove your worth.

You do not need to have anything figured out.

Life can sometimes place great pressure on the body and the nervous system.

And when this happens,

The mind may feel tense,

Tired.

Uncertain.

Confused and afraid.

But these moments do not define your true nature.

Feelings and emotions can sometimes be overwhelming.

But these are not permanent.

They move,

Change.

Rise and fall like waves upon a vast deep ocean.

Feelings,

Thoughts and difficult moments.

Can arise,

Then pass,

Come and go.

As all things in life do.

Yet beneath it all.

There is something quietly present here.

Still.

Away.

Untouched and deeply alive within you.

But for now.

.

.

Simply breathe.

Allow yourself to rest here,

Even for a short moment,

Without thinking.

Self-judgement.

Know that you are seen.

You are heard.

You are valued.

And once again.

There is nothing wrong with you.

The mind,

Out of its own confusion,

Can sometimes create stories about who we are about what is happening to us.

And about what others may think.

All of these are simply thoughts appearing.

And disappearing.

Not what you truly are.

Know that before all of those thoughts.

There is a quieter presence within you.

That has always been here.

The deepest part of you that does not need to fight.

Does not need to prove anything.

Understand or solve anything.

And does not need to become.

Someone else.

And when we sit quietly without trying to fix everything.

Without chasing every thought.

We slowly begin to feel this deeper part of ourselves.

Not through force,

But by being still.

And resting.

And in this stillness,

Something gentle begins to be recognized.

Get beneath all the noise.

Uncertainty.

And overwhelm of the mind.

There is also peace here.

A quiet peace that has never left you.

And if today feels difficult,

That is okay.

You do not need to heal everything all at once.

You do not need to carry tomorrow while trying to survive today.

For now,

Just take one quiet breath at a time.

That is all that's needed.

Be patient with yourself.

Speak kindly to yourself.

And remember even in moments when you feel uncertain.

Overwhelmed or alone.

Your life has real meaning.

And this is what you are in the process of discovering.

You matter deeply.

You are more than you realise.

And there are so many people in the world who understand exactly what you are feeling right now.

Because they too have most probably felt like this version of you.

At some times in their lives.

Save her now.

Whenever you are hearing these words.

Allow yourself a bit of space.

Enough to soften just a little.

Take a deep breath now.

Listen to your favourite piece of music.

And while listening,

Allow your body to listen.

And mind to rest.

And again remember.

There has never been anything.

Wrong with you.

You are human.

You are learning.

You are growing.

You are worthy of loving care.

Understanding,

Patience.

And peace.

And above all else.

To be happy.

As yourself.

Blessings to you.
