Welcome to this moment of peace and connection.

Today,

We are going to journey within to meet a very special part of you,

Your inner child.

This meditation is a space for healing,

For rediscovering the joy,

The innocence,

And the light that resides deep within your heart.

Take a deep breath,

And as you exhale,

Allow yourself to feel grounded,

Present,

And open to this experience.

Now find a comfortable position,

Sitting or laying down.

Allow your body to settle into the space,

Feeling supported by the ground beneath you.

When you're ready,

Softly gaze upward towards the center of your forehead,

Your third eye.

As you do this,

Take a deep breath in,

And slowly close your eyes,

Bringing your focus inward.

Take a few deep,

Cleansing breaths.

Inhale deeply through your nose,

Filling your lungs with fresh air.

Hold it for a moment,

And then gently exhale through your mouth,

Letting go of any tension or distraction.

With each breath,

Allow yourself to become more present,

More connected to the stillness within.

Feel yourself release anything that doesn't serve you.

Let each breath bring you closer to this space of connection and peace.

Now imagine yourself standing in a wide,

Open meadow.

You are surrounded by tall,

Wispy grass,

And wildflowers in every color of the rainbow sway softly in the breeze.

The sun is shining down,

Casting a warm glow,

And the air feels fresh and free.

It's a peaceful,

Safe place,

One where you can simply be.

As you stand in this meadow,

Feel the earth beneath you,

The freedom of space,

And the calm of nature surrounding you.

There is no rush,

No pressure,

Just the invitation to be at ease.

Now look ahead.

In the distance,

You begin to notice a child,

Your inner child,

Playing in the meadow.

They might be laughing,

Running,

Or just exploring.

Whoever you see first is the child that needs your attention today.

What age are they?

What do they look like?

Notice the details of their appearance,

The way they move,

And the energy they carry.

You may feel an instant connection,

Or perhaps curiosity.

Either way,

Trust what you see.

Allow yourself to move closer.

Approach them slowly,

Without rushing.

Watch as they play,

Perhaps jumping,

Running through the flowers,

Or sitting quietly by themselves.

Notice how they interact with the world.

As you move closer to them,

Offer a warm,

Inviting presence,

And see them smile back at you as they recognize who you are.

Your inner child might be full of energy,

Curiosity,

Or might simply want to be held or comforted.

The beauty of this moment is that there is no right or wrong way to be.

There is only connection,

Love,

And understanding.

Now kindly ask your inner child what they want to do with you.

Do they want to play tag?

Do they want to be hugged?

Do they want to hold hands and skip together?

Or maybe they just want to sit with you,

To be in your presence,

Without any expectations.

Whatever they want,

Let this moment be about them.

If they need space,

Allow them to have it.

If they want your presence,

Give it fully.

Take a moment to explore this dynamic.

Whether it's through play,

Through silence,

Or through a deep sense of connection,

Your presence is enough,

And your love is a gift.

Now take this child's hand and walk with them toward a gentle stream.

Hear the sound of the water softly flowing,

Creating a soothing melody.

And see the stream sparkle in the sunlight,

Its water clear and cool.

You and your inner child sit down on the edge of the stream.

Slowly,

With a smile,

You both take off your shoes,

Feeling the cool,

Soft grass beneath your bare feet.

The ground feels soft and solid,

Supporting you with each step.

As you both stand up and approach the stream,

The cool water welcomes you.

You gently dip your toes into the stream.

The water feels refreshing.

It's chill spreading through your feet up your legs.

It's a kind of coolness that soothes,

A natural,

Calming sensation that quiets your mind and eases your body.

The water is like a reassuring hug,

Reminding you that you are both safe,

Supported,

And grounded.

Take a deep breath,

Feeling the peace that this moment brings.

The stream is not just water.

It is life.

It is renewal.

It is calming your nervous system.

Helping both you and your inner child find balance and harmony within.

Now take your inner child's hand again and walk them out of the stream.

Feeling the coolness linger on your skin,

Bringing with it a deep sense of calm.

Now find a comfortable log where you both can sit.

Look into this child's eyes and softly tell them,

Everything is going to be okay.

I am always with you,

And you are always with me.

Let these words sink deep into their heart.

Knowing that you are there for them in every moment.

Past,

Present,

And future.

If there are any worries or fears your inner child is carrying,

Acknowledge them.

Gently tell them,

It's not your fault.

None of it was ever your fault.

It is never a child's fault.

The love and comfort you offer are healing.

And with every word,

Every moment spent together,

You are offering this child the safety they need to release the burdens they've carried.

Now begin to share with your inner child how you have grown,

The ways you've blossomed,

And any exciting things going on in your life right now.

Share with them the strength you've found,

The wisdom you've gained,

And the joy you've come to know in your adult life.

Tell them how much you love them,

And how proud you are of them.

And allow them to feel the protection and care you offer them.

Take your inner child's hand again,

And stand up together.

Feel their presence beside you,

Holding onto you with trust and love.

It's now time to release anything that has been holding you back from the past.

Any hurt,

Shame,

Or guilt that is keeping you stuck in old patterns.

Look at your inner child with love and compassion,

And softly say,

It's time to let go.

We don't need to carry this anymore.

You are safe,

You are loved,

And you are important just as you are.

As you say these words,

Feel the release within you.

Feel the weight of old stories and pains gently lift.

Feel the lightness in your heart,

As both you and your inner child begin to walk forward together,

Unburdened.

Free to embrace the future with open arms.

You are no longer held back by the past.

You and your inner child are free to move forward,

With love and possibility.

It's now time to come back to the present moment.

Gently begin to walk back through the meadow with your inner child by your side.

Feel the connection,

The love,

And the peace that you've shared together,

And the deep awakening within your soul.

Know that a shift has happened,

And you are now free to embrace your future with open arms.

As you walk back through the wispy grass and wildflowers,

Begin to bring your awareness back to your body,

Sitting here in the present moment,

In the room where you began.

Start to deepen your breath again.

Notice how your body feels,

How the weight of the day might feel lighter,

Slowly begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes,

Bringing your energy back to the here and now.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes,

Carrying with you the love,

Healing,

And connection you've shared with your inner child.

You are always welcome to return to this place,

To reconnect with your inner child whenever you need.

Remember,

The love and light that you shared with them is always within you.

Take one final deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Feel calm,

Whole,

And ready to embrace whatever comes next.
