Transcript
Welcome to this brief morning meditation inspired by the deep wisdom of Celtic spirituality.
As you begin your day,
Take a moment to connect with the sacredness of the natural world around you.
In the Celtic tradition,
The elements are deeply revered as sacred forces that connect us to the earth and to the divine or source.
So imagine now the earth beneath you,
Steady and supportive.
Feel its strength grounding you,
Offering you stability and security as you move through your day.
Next,
Sense the water around you,
Maybe in the form of dew on the grass or mist in the air.
Allow this element to cleanse and refresh your spirit,
Washing away anything you need to let go of from yesterday.
And preparing you for the new day ahead,
Feel the gentle touch of air as it surrounds you.
This is the breath of life,
The breath of the divine or source.
Next,
Inhale deeply now,
Welcoming clarity and inspiration.
And exhale,
Letting go of any thoughts that no longer serve you.
Finally,
Connect with the fire of the rising sun,
Even if it's hidden behind the clouds.
Feel its warmth and light energizing you,
Filling you with vitality,
Courage,
And a sense of purpose for the day ahead.
As you stand in the presence of these sacred elements,
Take a moment now to offer a silent blessing for the day ahead.
May this day be blessed with the energy of the earth,
The flow of water,
The clarity of air,
And the warmth of fire.
May I walk in harmony with the natural world.
And may my actions be guided by the ancient wisdom that flows through all things.
Take one last deep breath in,
Feeling grounded,
Refreshed,
And ready to embrace the day.
As you exhale,
Gently opening your eyes,
Carrying the blessings of the Celtic spirit with you as you go forth into this new day.
