This course won’t ask you to overhaul your life or completely change your routine. Instead, you’ll learn how small mindful choices can help you respond more self-supportively to the ordinary pressures of daily life.
Together we’ll explore how stress reactivity, hard-wired habits and the busy mind can pull us away from calm and stability. Through practical examples, supportive teaching and guided meditations, you’ll learn how to return to the body, breath and presence when you need it most.
Each day includes a short but powerful practice to help you:

Derek Hill is a mindfulness and compassion teacher, speaker and coach based in London. He is accredited by the Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB) and teaches mindfulness courses and workshops designed to help people manage stress, reconnect with themselves and cultivate greater calm in everyday life.
After spending more than 20 years working in high-stress corporate and purpose-driven environments, Derek redesigned his life around mindfulness, wellbeing and human connection. His teaching combines practical mindfulness tools, compassion practices and insights from neuroscience in ways that feel relatable, grounded and easy to apply in modern life.

Together we’ll explore how everyday habits influence stress, focus and emotional balance before sharing a grounding body and breath meditation to help you begin the day with greater calm and clarity.

A practical introduction to the STOP practice, helping you pause during the busyness of the day and interrupt cycles of stress, tension and overthinking before they build further.
Together we’ll explore how stress reactivity can affect the body and mind before sharing a guided STOP breath meditation to help you reset, reconnect with the present moment and return with greater calm.

Self-Compassionate Evening De-Stress
A gentle evening practice for recognising the voice of the inner-critic and allowing a kinder, more supportive voice of self-compassion to rise above it.
Together we’ll explore how negative self-talk can increase emotional reactivity before sharing a nourishing self-compassion meditation to help ease stress, soften emotional discomfort and support a calmer

Night-time Gratitude
A calming night-time reflection for taking in the good, cultivating gratitude and settling the mind and body before sleep.
Together we’ll explore how gratitude can support healthier emotional habits before sharing a soothing night-time meditation to invite nourishing moments into awareness and support deeper rest.
