Planning a yoga and meditation retreat in Yelapa was very intentional. As we begin our journey toward Yelapa in December 2026, most of us will be tired from the busyness of life and hungry for a chance to really pause. Amidst Yelapa's tranquil beauty, we will share daily movement, mantra practice, and meditation, all supported by the nature and wisdom of the land we will call home during our time together. This beautifully curated container of sangha and practice will allow us to make contact with our inner wisdom and our outer sense of unity and community.

Retreat participants will choose between a single or double occupancy (with 2 queen beds) room at Pura Vida Wellness Retreat Center These spacious rooms are located in a tropical garden situated on the hill just above the Pacific’s shore. With views of either the ocean or the jungle, the rooms are an open-air style with three walls and a rooftop, allowing for breathtaking views each morning, as well as security, privacy, and fresh unpolluted air. All rooms have organic, metal-free mattresses, organic sheets and pillows, and mosquito nets for the beds.

The buffet-style meals provided at Pura Vida are primarily organic and plant-based and always wholesome and nourishing. Meals will be gluten-free, sugar-free, and vegetarian, with vegan options available. (Note: Fish and chicken can be added upon request for a small upgrade in price.) Our retreat includes all meals. We do encourage yogis to have meals in the village during the retreat so that they can get to know the locals a bit more and contribute to their livelihood by supporting the various restaurants.
