Understanding High Blood Pressure From A TCM Perspective
High Blood Pressure has different root causes, and each one has its own protocol for balancing. For example, stress from working too much or resting too little is rooted in kidney deficiency; heightened emotions causing blood pressure to rise is situated in the liver meridian; poor digestion impacting blood pressure is related to the stomach and spleen meridians, while poor circulation connects to the heart meridian.

Heart 6
Massage these areas for between 30 and 90 seconds. Use twice a day for repair and two to three times per week for maintenance.

A Calming & Settling Meditation
Please lie flat on your back, if possible, for this meditation with a cloth over your eyes. Lying down flat helps to settle the blood system, so this position will aid the experience. Have water nearby and allow for a few minutes after for integration.
