Interwoven through and within the organs, muscles and systems of the human body is the nervous system. The nervous system is the headquarters for the primary yin and yang frequency that travels through all the organs, tissues, and more. In this course, we work with specific techniques to calm and restore the nervous system both as an individual system as well as within each of the five elements and their related organs and muscles. Lessons 2 to 7 contain easy-to-follow-along exercises that will help your holistic body to ground, balance, and relax. You will be guided through techniques to: release jaw tension + settle anxiety + restore a mind-body connection + open up a tight chest + restore an under-active liver + move anger out of the cellular system + increase suppleness of joints + more.


Meet your Teacher

Kinesiologist, Helen Hansen, has been in the practice of mind-body awareness, integration, and healing for more than 20 years. Her countless workshops on 'Calm Body, Calm Mind' have been well received across South Africa as well as online. Helen shares her most successful techniques in this course for bringing calm and peace into all areas of the holistic system.

Understanding The Nervous System

In this introductory lesson, we look at what the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system entail. The nervous system is like the headquarters of the body so it's really important to know and understand how your first home here on earth operates. A brief explanation of the meridian system is also shared. At the end of this lesson, you will be prepared to move into the practical techniques starting from lesson 2.
