Meet your Teacher

Rianna is a full-time traveler and serial entrepreneur since 2011. She is currently based in Bali, although rarely in one place for long. From an early age, she was told to “pick one thing and stick with it.” She tried, but quickly realized that wasn’t her path. Instead, she chose to follow all her interests, embracing the journey of a multi-passionate entrepreneur and creating a life that reflects her many passions. Alongside her businesses, Rianna organizes walking and hiking retreats for women who, like her, are childless not by choice. Donations in her name go directly toward female empowerment projects run by CWEC in Lamjung, Nepal.

Our human brain evolved to respond to an immediate-returns environment. Where everything we did had an instant consequence. However, in a few thousand years (a blink of an eye in human history), everything changed towards a delayed-returns environment. You do something today and enjoy the benefit later. Consequently, we struggle when the gratification comes later because we value immediate rewards more than future rewards.
