Welcome to day 5 of the Accept Model.

And the fifth step in accepting a situation or a circumstance that you cannot change is to create positive feelings before positive thoughts.

Because you know,

Thoughts are something in the future,

While feelings are in the here and now.

So find a comfortable position and then close your eyes.

And we are going to take three collective breaths together.

What are the feelings you like to have?

Is it happiness?

Joy?

Maybe it's gratitude?

Success?

Satisfaction?

What is it that you would like to feel?

And it's really about you.

It's not what other people want to feel.

And it's really about you.

It's not what other people want you to feel or experience.

Because it seems that over time most of us get disconnected from our inner knowing due to all the voices in our external world.

The opinions of your parents,

The thoughts of your friends,

The pressure from society.

But you know,

I believe that all answers are already within us.

And it's about finding your way back to your inner voice.

So what are the feelings you would like to have?

And how can you create those feelings in your life?

What do you need to start doing?

And what do you need to stop doing?

And which of those two things can you start doing today?

Or maybe stop doing?

And which of those two things can you do today?

To either start something or to stop something?

And what would that look like?

What would that feel like?

Whenever you're ready,

Open your eyes and look around.

Is there something small in your environment that you can put in your pocket as a trigger?

Because you know,

Life takes over sometimes.

But if you have something in your pocket that can remind you throughout the day to create more positive feelings,

It can be very helpful.
