Welcome to day 3 of the Accept model.
On day one,
You've started acknowledging the situation you're in.
And on day two you've started looking at all the things inside of your control.
And the third step in accepting a situation or a circumstance that you cannot change.
Is to create a calming routine.
Find a comfortable position.
And then close your eyes.
Now let's take three deep breaths together.
Breathe in through your nose.
And breathe out through your mouth.
You Okay.
Now let's imagine your ideal day.
You can choose to visualize a day where there are no limitations on responsibilities.
Or you can choose to visualize a real ideal day.
One that you can start tomorrow without making any major life changes.
I leave the choice up to you.
Now imagine your ideal day.
Where are you?
Let's start with your location.
You might be right there at home.
Or it might be thousands of miles away on the other side of the world.
Where are you?
What do you see?
What do you hear?
And what do you feel?
Now what does your morning look like?
Do you want to wake up to an alarm?
Would you prefer sleeping in?
Just think about all the times you found yourself to be the most energized,
Productive and creative.
What kind of schedule works around these energized times?
What would that look like?
When do you feel the most relaxed?
What are the things that ease your stress and regenerate your spirit?
Because it's important to remember that relaxation is productive.
You're charging the batteries for the next round of life.
What is it that helps you decompress?
Think of some ideas.
What could you incorporate in your ideal day?
Now look around you and notice the people.
That are around you,
That leave you feeling energized and positive.
Look at their face!
What do they look like?
Can you feel their love and compassion towards you?
Imagine what would life look like if you could incorporate more quality time with them.
And now if you're living your ideal day,
I imagine you want to keep living it as long as possible.
So think of some things that you have enjoyed doing in the past,
Or something you do currently that gets you up and moving.
How can you incorporate more of that in your ideal day?
And now,
Before you open your eyes,
Think of something you could do today!
To come a bit closer to this ideal day.
You visualized.
What is a small change?
Or an action step you could take.
How can you create a calming routine for yourself?
Whenever you're ready,
Open your eyes.
