Grief can be a heavy and overwhelming emotion and it's important to take the time to process and cope with it.

This guided meditation is designed to provide a safe and peaceful space for you to acknowledge your grief and find comfort during this difficult time.

So let's begin.

Find a quiet place where you can sit or lay down comfortably.

Then close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Two more times.

Deep breath in and out through your mouth.

One more time.

Now as you continue to breathe deeply,

Allow yourself to let go of any tension in your body.

Starting at the top of your head,

Imagine a warm soothing light flowing through your body,

Releasing any tension and stress as it goes.

Through your neck,

Your shoulders,

Your chest,

Your arms,

Your back,

Your pelvic,

Your upper legs,

Your calves,

All the way out through your feet,

Your toes.

Now bring to mind the person or situation that you are grieving for and allow yourself to fully feel and acknowledge the pain and sadness that you're experiencing.

Because it's important to allow yourself to feel these emotions rather than pushing them away.

What do you see?

What do you hear?

What do you feel?

Now imagine a warm comforting light surrounding you,

Offering you comfort and support during this difficult time.

Allow yourself to let go of any guilt or blame that you may be holding onto.

And remember it's normal to grieve and to feel this range of emotions.

Now focus on your breath once again and imagine that with each inhale you're breathing in peace and calm.

And with each exhale you're releasing any negative emotion.

Breathe in peace and calm and release anything that's holding you back.

Breathe in,

Feel the calm enter your body and breathe out.

Imagine yourself in a peaceful place such as a beautiful forest or a serene beach and allow yourself to fully immerse in this peaceful scene and imagine that with each breath you're becoming more and more calm and at peace.

Now as you continue to breathe deeply and focus on this peaceful scene,

Imagine yourself letting go of any pain or sadness that you may be holding pain or sadness that you're experiencing.

Remember healing takes time and it's important to be kind and gentle with yourself during this process.

And when you feel ready,

Slowly open your eyes and take a moment to return to your surroundings.

Remember you're not alone in your grief and it's okay to reach out for support when you need it.

Take a final deep breath in and out and remember to continue to be kind to yourself as you navigate the process of healing and grief.
