Transcript
I arise today through the strength of heaven,
Light of the sun,
Radiance of the moon,
Splendor of fire,
Speed of lightning,
Swiftness of the wind,
Depth of the sea and stability of the earth,
Firmness of rock.
I arise today through God's strength to pilot me.
God's might to uphold me.
God's wisdom to guide me.
God's eye to look before me.
God's ear to hear me.
God's word to speak for me.
God's hand to guard me.
God's way to lie before me.
God's shield to protect me.
God's hosts of heavenly beings to shelter me.
Alone or in a multitude,
Christ shield me today against all wounding.
For Christ is with me.
Christ goes before me and behind me.
Christ is within me,
Beneath me and above me.
Christ is on my right and on my left.
Christ when I lie down,
When I sit down,
When I stand.
Christ be in the heart of everyone who thinks of me and in the words of everyone who speaks of me this day.
I arise today through the fullness of heaven.
Let it be so,
Let it be now,
Let it be.
