Most High God,

You are my shepherd.

For you guide and protect me.

With great care,

You watch over me.

You provide for me always.

So I am never in need.

You bring me to rest in peaceful,

Green pastures.

You lead me to still waters.

Refreshing my soul.

True to who you are and to your word.

You guide me along on a straight path.

Drawing me in,

Should I wander off?

Always,

Always for my highest good,

You lead me.

And when my way takes me through a valley of darkness,

When I may not feel the closeness of your presence,

Help me to trust and not fear.

Help me to remember you and that you are with me,

For you will never leave me or abandon me.

And though I may wander off your way of love and peace,

Still with patience and compassion,

You protect and comfort me.

Always leading me home.

Bringing me back to the safety and security of your presence.

You provide a feast for me in view of those who may secretly judge and resent me.

You anoint my head with the fragrant oil of joy,

Overflowing my life with grace and mercy.

For goodness and love will pursue me all the days of my life.

And I will dwell securely in the house of my God forever.

Let it be so.

Let it be now.

Let it be.
