Hello and welcome,

My name is Laya and this is a short guided meditation to set you up for your day.

Please find a comfortable place where you can sit down or lie down and go ahead and close your eyes or soften your gaze.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Fill up your belly,

Your rib cage,

Your chest,

Open your mouth and slowly let it go.

Again,

Take a deep inhalation through your nose,

Letting the air expand within your body and then let it go.

One more time,

Inhale,

Expand front to back,

Side to side,

Top to bottom and let it go.

Return to your natural breath and take a moment to notice how you show up in this new day,

How you feel in your body,

What kind of thoughts you are having in this moment,

The emotions that you are feeling as you start your day,

How you feel energetically and perhaps even spiritually.

Simply giving yourself permission to observe how you are as you are without any need to change or improve anything.

Give yourself permission to let this moment be a fresh start where you can simply sit with yourself for a few moments as you breathe and observe what is present.

Perhaps there is this comfort in your body or pain even.

You might observe that your mind is overactive or perhaps sluggish.

There is a chance that the emotions that you are experiencing are not how you want to feel.

Just give yourself permission to observe and know where you are starting from simply as information to guide you through your day,

To inform your choices,

To support your path and your intention.

Inhale deeply through your nose.

Sigh it out.

Give yourself just one more moment here to observe your inner landscape and to recognize that again if this is a fresh start,

Indeed can you start fresh?

Can you give yourself space to consider possibility?

And with that perhaps you start to set an intention for your day considering how it is that you want to feel,

What it is that you want to embody or create.

Perhaps there is a certain energy that you want to let go of or release.

Inhale deeply.

Let go.

Acknowledge this moment as precious,

The start of a new day.

Perhaps you take a moment to recognize one or two things that you are grateful for in this moment.

It can be very small things.

Perhaps repeat within or without.

Thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you.

Once you feel ready start to bring gentle movement into your body.

Perhaps you move your neck a little side to side.

Perhaps you roll your shoulders a bit.

Eventually open your eyes.

Welcome to your fresh start.

Have a beautiful day.

Well put together meditation thank you! I found I was naturally doing the things just before you mentioned them, like moving. Brilliantly intuitive 🙏🏻💗 I did find your speech fast and a little pointed at the beginning but thankfully I pushed through that and the reward was worth it 😊
