Having a daily yoga practice sounds dreamy, but it can be very difficult when going to work, caring for your home and family, and managing your time and energy. If you're ready to start a daily practice but know you're limited on time, this challenge is for you! During 5 days, I will share with you a 5-minute movement practice to help you shift your energy. I know that 5 minutes a day may not sound like much, but I am a firm believer that starting super small can create sustainable and lasting positive change. Come as you are.


Meet your Teacher

Laia is an Afro-Catalan accessible and inclusive yoga & meditation teacher. She has trained and practiced hatha, vinyasa, trauma-informed yoga, yin yoga, and restorative and holds E-RYT 500 and YACEP accreditations with the Yoga Alliance. As a former professional athlete living with a chronic illness, she gained valuable insights into the benefits of self-care and the importance of pausing and slowing down. She is dedicated to sharing accessible and sustainable practices of yoga and meditation to help people create a more harmonious life.

We will explore the physical, mental, and energetic benefits of short, focused yoga sessions, helping you to improve flexibility, reduce stress, and balance your energy. We'll end the session with a moment to center.

Day 1 | Awaken

Day 2 | Focus

Welcome to Day 2! today's short yoga session is perfect for when you're having a hard time focusing and you need to get things done. Hope on your mat with me for a centering and fun practice to bring you right to the present moment. Enjoy!

Day 3 | Pause

It's Day 3, and it's time to take a break! Let's slow down a little bit and spend these 5 minutes on your yoga mat moving gently and releasing tension. You'll thank yourself later!

Day 4 | Flow

Welcome to Day 4! You're almost there! Today's 5-minute practice will reconnect you to a sense of flow. Whether you feel stiff physically or are have a mental block, this mini-session is ideal to get you back into the rhythm of life and the creativity within you.

Day 5 | Release

Congratulations on making it to the last day of the challenge! Whether you've shown up every day or this has taken you a bit longer, you should be super proud. Today we celebrate by releasing stress. Let yourself soften into this short yet nurturing practice.

This has been fantastic. Just five minutes made it a doable challenge. Day 1 has become my go to morning routine. I stayed with it until I became comfortable, then tried each of the other days. Repetition makes each one more rewarding. It’s probably taken me three weeks to complete the ‘challenge’ and I hope I have developed a habit. For context, I have done hardly any yoga before, and am in my early sixties. I will continue to use these mini sessions, unless /until I might feel able to develop my yoga practice further.
