Welcome to a new day.
In this meditation,
We are going to set your intention in a way that serves you best and ensures throughout the day your actions with your intention.
We'll begin in a comfortable seated position.
Close your eyes and take a couple of deep breaths through your nose.
Opening up on the inhale,
Feeling your energy rising and balancing that out with the relaxation of the exhale.
Releasing the deep breathing,
Allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
Gently rising,
Softly falling.
Now bringing your awareness to your body,
We'll do a body scan together,
Noticing if there are any areas where you're holding on to some tension.
Softening your face and shoulders,
Your chest,
Arms and hands,
Your hips,
Your sit bones,
Legs,
And your feet.
Now bringing your attention up to your heart center,
That area in the center of your chest,
Just below your breastbone.
Imagine as if you are breathing in and out of your heart center,
Feeling that gentle expansion,
Release.
Now let's set a very clear intention.
I have no doubt that you have things that you want to focus on today externally.
For this intention,
I want you to point your attention inwards.
Think about what you really want.
You want to feel content,
Peaceful,
Joyful,
At ease.
I offer those pointers to you.
I want you to allow this question to rest in your heart in silence as you breathe in and out of your heart center until the word comes to you,
The word that speaks to you most clearly of what it is you most want.
Now holding the precious seed of your intention at your heart center,
Silently say your intention as a mantra,
Repeating that one or two or three words that best describe your intention.
Each mantra nurturing your intention.
Each breath honoring your intention.
Letting the mantra go and continue softly breathing in and out of your heart center.
Each breath sealing in your intention.
Now visualize your day.
See yourself remaining deeply connected to your intention.
As you go about your routine,
You feel more at ease,
More relaxed.
You can see and feel the spaciousness around your day as your actions are aligned with your intention.
In being very wise,
You are prepared for those times when you might lose your connection to your intention.
The day starts to get away from you.
The stress and worries start to build up.
You see yourself bringing your attention to your heart center,
Repeating your intention with each breath,
Connecting you back to your intention.
Back to what is most important to you.
While you may have some challenges you're facing in that moment,
You remember and you know in your heart what is most important to your intention.
When your actions are aligned with your intention,
You are at your best.
You know at any moment of the day you can connect back to your intention,
Feeling that connection of your intention in your breath,
Always guiding you back to what it is you most want.
As we are coming to the end of this meditation,
Taking a moment to have some gratitude in your heart,
Taking the time to honor,
Cultivate what is most important to you.
Namaste.
