Hello and welcome,
This is Laia.
Welcome to your Monday morning.
Please make yourself comfortable perhaps by lying down or finding a comfortable seat.
Arrange the pillows and the supports around you so that you feel grounded and cozy,
Maybe even relaxed.
Take a moment to perhaps move a little bit,
To stretch out if it serves you,
To let yourself arrive right here,
Right now,
As you are.
Taking a moment to look at your surroundings,
Whether you find yourself indoors or outdoors.
Notice the colors,
The shapes,
The textures of the environment and eventually bring yourself to stillness and allow your gaze to lower down toward the earth or if you rather you can close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Open your mouth and let it go.
Inhale deeply through your nose,
Let the air expand front to back,
Side to side,
Top to bottom,
Let it go.
One more just like that,
Inhaling deeply,
Fill up your belly,
Your rib cage,
Your chest,
All the way up to the collarbones.
Perhaps hold at the top and let it all go.
Return to a natural rhythm of breath,
Give yourself this instant to observe the sensations in your physical body,
Become aware of the edges,
The spaces that feel soft,
Relaxed,
Open.
Become aware of any tension,
Any discomfort,
Any pain,
With curiosity,
With compassion.
Breathe in deeply,
Breathe out completely.
Arrive into your physical body exactly as it is,
Finding gratitude for this new day,
For this new week.
Notice where your mind is in this moment.
Perhaps your task list is already forming itself,
Taking up space,
The long list of to-dos,
Meetings,
Whatever it is.
Acknowledge it as much as you would acknowledge a cloud passing by in the sky.
Let it move on,
Observe your thoughts,
Releasing any attachment,
Recognizing that your mind is doing what your mind is meant to do,
But also recognizing that you can find separation from the thoughts,
From the mind,
From the back and forth as you become more and more present with what is right here,
Right now.
So take a deep breath in through your nose,
Fill yourself up with air,
With prana,
Life force,
Intentionally.
Bring your palms together in front of your heart if you'd like and perhaps utilize this moment of gratitude and presence to set an intention for your day or perhaps for your week,
Creating a space where a seed can be planted simply as a reminder of where your center lays,
A reminder that when you breathe with awareness,
You can return to the present,
To your truth,
To peace.
Inhale deeply and let go.
Once you feel ready,
Not a moment before,
Once you feel ready,
Not a moment before,
Start to bring movement back into your body slowly and mindfully.
Blink your eyes open,
Allow the world to come back to focus and with that move on with your day.
I hope you have a beautiful Monday.
