Much of our stress and obstacles stem from resisting the present reality and veering away from mindfulness. This brief guided meditation is designed to nurture your mind, body, and nervous system, allowing your innate wisdom to flourish in the right environment. This is your invitation to gift yourself the present moment.
Get comfortable.
Close your eyes.
Relax your muscles.
Allow yourself to drift wherever you choose on these ocean waves and as you listen to the sound of the singing bulls,
Allow this moment to reset your mind,
Your body,
Your spirit,
Your soul.
Allow the sounds to reset your nervous system.
Allow yourself the gift of this present moment.
If your mind wanders,
Do not judge it.
As soon as you recognize it,
Come back to your breath just as easily as you stepped away from your breath.
Inhale for three seconds.
Hold at the top for three seconds and exhale for four seconds or as many seconds as it takes to release all of your breath before you inhale again.
Do that two to three times and sit in this present moment and enjoy the sounds,
The feel of whatever you're sitting on or lying down on,
The temperature of the air,
The presence of the clothes on your body if you're dressed.
Now I invite you to come back,
Open your eyes and come back to the present moment ready to resume your day.
