Lesson 1

How Sound Affects Brain Function

In this course, you’ll unlock the power of sound frequencies and brainwave entrainment to sharpen your focus, calm your mind, and elevate your productivity. You’ll explore how different sounds can guide your brain into a state that helps you focus, relax, or sleep better. You’ll gain practical, easy-to-use knowledge of the exact frequencies you can apply to train your brain for greater focus, relaxation, and success in your daily life. We’ll cover: What brainwave entrainment is — how certain sounds and rhythms can help sync your brain’s activity to support relaxation, better focus, or deeper sleep. Simple methods you can use, including: Binaural beats — two slightly different sounds in each ear that create a beat your brain syncs with. Isochronic tones, clear pulsing beats you can listen to without headphones, helpful even if you have hearing loss. Monaural beats and white noise, continuous sounds that guide your brain into the right state for what you need. We’ll look at research showing how brainwave entrainment can improve memory, mental flexibility, concentration, relaxation, and sleep.

Thank you for this!! Is it difficult sometimes for me to find music to help get started on my tasks. I start to feel overwhelmed with all the different options and my inability to make a decision starts to bring up a little bit of shame... And it's a tough cycle. I use beta wave music often, after having listened to your other course! I search using keywords 14-30hz. I generally can't find much when I look for beta waves however. It would be so great to have a curated playlist from you!! Maybe even pomodoro flow that has a 25 min song and then a nice 5 min break excersice.
