Listen to this meditation every day for one month to allow the practice to deepen your connection to your heart center and cultivate gratitude in your life.

Allow your eyes to comfortably close as you become aware of this present moment of your breath and your body and begin to allow the breath to deepen as you breathe in allow the belly to expand wide like a big balloon and as you breathe out release and let go breathing in belly expanding and breathing out breath in breath out feeling the grain beneath you supporting you allow yourself to let go and feel any tension melting away and knowing that the mind will wander and when it does just bring your awareness back to my words or back to your breath and placing your hand if you wish at your heart center at the center of the chest and bring a gentle smile to your face and imagine at your heart center there's a light here visualize this light expanding with each inhale filling your chest and with each exhale allow this light to begin to spread out through your body this light begin to illuminate every part of you this light spreads up through the neck to the head and the face this spreads down to the shoulders and the arms hands fingers and thumbs this light embracing you traveling down the body filling the torso whole back of the body whole front of the body receiving this light as it travels down to the pelvis down the legs to the feet and the toes and breath in and breath out and feeling grateful for your legs for their strength and support your legs have taken you so many places over the years bringing the awareness to your arms and feeling gratitude for your arms and for their ability to embrace and hold sending gratitude to your hands for their creativity and care and feeling grateful for your mind for its wisdom feel the flow of gratitude moving through you brightening each part of your body and feeling gratitude for your lungs for the gift of breath the breath nourishing your body and mind and feeling gratitude for your heart for its strength resilience and for the love it brings into your life breath in breath out breath in breath out gratitude has been proven to improve our well-being so if you can make this a daily practice the more it can get into your whole being that feeling of gratitude and when you're ready begin to move the fingers and the toes and allow the body to move stretch and reawaken
