Self-Judgement and The Joy of Self-Compassion
In this lesson, Silas covers the basic but foundational subject of not judging or evaluating your experience during meditation. Simply observe and acknowledge any thoughts, emotions, or sensations that arise without getting caught up in them.

Non-Attachment and No Expectations
In this lesson, Silas discusses and covers Practicing non-attachment, letting go of any desire for a particular outcome or result from your meditation practice as well as Letting go of any expectations or preconceived notions about what meditation should be like.
Lección 6
Openness, Curiosity, Receptiveness
In this lesson, Silas covers the essential topic of Maintaining an open and curious mindset and being receptive to whatever arises in your experience. In our meditation, we can often close ourselves in when in fact by opening ourselves up we can progress and grow much faster and fully.
Lección 7
Patience, Acceptance, and Commitment
In this lesson, Silas covers how important it is to establish a regular and committed meditation practice without judgment toward ourselves. As well, Silas covers just how important it is to maintain and grow in patience and accept within our meditation practice and daily life.
Lección 8
Closing Thoughts
In this lesson, Silas expresses deep and personal love and care for the journey of a meditator and just how important community, practice, and spiritual health can be.

A lovely introduction to meditation for any one new to the practice. But also ideal for experienced meditators who want a return to basics. I've been meditating regularly for a few years now and love Silas courses. This one gave me a deeper understanding of why the basics matter. Thank you.
