COURSE

Stoicism: An Introduction & Contemplation

With Silas Day

Stoicism is a school of philosophy that hails from ancient Greece and Rome in the early parts of the 3rd century, BC. It is a philosophy of life that maximizes positive emotions, reduces negative emotions, and helps individuals to hone their virtues of character. Yet how does it do this? who are its masters and what makes it so universally well-received? Through this course, we will take a look at its history, its tents, and its major figures who are all the way from a slave to the Emperor of Rome.
