Functional breathing is all about how we are breathing during the day so in this course we will learn technique's and tools that can seamlessly integrate into your every day life without having to take time out of your day to complete them.

Jake has been practicing and sharing the power of breathing with his clients for several years. Studying with different teachers and organisations to create a well rounded systematic approach to the world of breathwork. He believes breathwork is a full spectrum that can be used and adapted to work with people and the many challenges they face in life.

Lesson 1

Measure The Functionality Of Your Breath

In this lesson we introduce the Bolt score. This is a measurement tool that you can use to understand your every day breathing habits. Its an important tool that can act as a baseline guide to understanding how functional you are breathing.

Breath Awareness

Breath awareness is all about becoming aware of your breath in the present moment. A useful skill to identify how you are feeling in the moment. Your breath mimics our emotions and are emotions mimic our breath.

Lesson 3

Small Breath Holds

In this lesson we learn about the power of holding your breath. Introducing a very simple and easy to understand exercise that can be integrate into every day life with ease and without effort.

Lesson 4

Steps

In this lesson we expand upon our breath hold practice and add another element to it. We look at holding our breath while adding movement to expand the exercise and increase the intensity of it.

Lesson 5

Stronger Breath Holds

In this session we again continue to expand our breath hold practice really delving into what we can gain from this practice when we begin to push our physical and mental boundaries.

Lesson 6

Breathe Light

In this session we learn how to reduce our volume of air that we are taking into the system. You will learn about the power of breathing less as compared to breathing more.
