Affirmations For Rest
In the guided Affirmations for Rest Meditation, I offer a definition of affirmation and invite you to repeat or let go of whatever affirmation I offer that is true or not true for you in connection with rest.
Transcript
Welcome to affirmations for rest.
Affirmations are positive and meaningful present tense statements expressed aloud or written to help develop new narrow pathways in the brain that create holistic positive change in thought and behavior.
Find a comfortable place to be in your body seated or lying down.
As I repeat these affirmations,
Repeat to yourself whatever is true for you.
And if there are affirmations,
I say here that do not land or are not true for you.
Let those go.
And maybe come up with one of your own.
I am hopeful I can rest.
I feel ready in body and mind to relax.
I can let go of today.
I see myself alight with peace.
I am a peaceful being.
My body is filled with ease.
My mind is settled.
I am happy to release the weight of the day.
I tune into my inner peace.
I am grateful for sleep.
I have everything I need to bring calm to my being.
I am grateful for sleep.
I tune into my inner peace.
I am happy to release the weight of the day.
My mind is settled.
My body is filled with ease.
I am a peaceful being.
I see myself alight with peace.
I can let go of today.
I feel ready in body and mind to relax.
I am hopeful I can rest.
