As we've all been affected by the changes going on throughout the world,
We've had a lot of time to reflect on things.
In thinking about it,
One of those I'm sure you felt is gratitude for being here and all the times we've been reminded,
Take a moment.
A pause to think about your perspective and how you might need to shift it a little.
I remember one time babysitting my friend's child and he ran in front of me and picked up a stick and was throwing it up in the air and having great joy and pleasure.
And all of a sudden the stick crashed to the ground and split in half.
I thought,
Oh no,
I know he's going to start crying,
Being consolable.
But what did he do?
He picked up the two pieces of the split broken stick and his smile was even more radiant as he showed me and shouted,
I have two and proceeded to spin them around like two magic wands to his great delight.
So how about you?
Will you pick up the broken stick and see the magic in it?
I know I felt broken when a relationship or a job didn't work out to my liking.
On reflection,
I'm so glad some of these situations did not work out to my way of thinking.
Although at the time you could not have convinced me of that.
Now with these experiences behind me,
I can see how things worked out so much better.
Maybe even made me stronger.
So make that broken stick your magic wand,
Calling for a change.
What can you do?
Maybe you should ask or listen for some guidance or maybe just hear if your higher power is saying not now.
We never liked that,
But listen again.
Maybe it's not now I have something better.
So breathe in the now.
Let go of the should have.
Breathe in something better.
Let go of the I must have.
Breathe in joy.
Let go and live.
Be safe,
Be kind.
Namaste.
