Heal Anxious Attachment: Why Reassurance Never Feels Like Enough

With Orit Krug

Have you ever noticed that reassurance helps... but only for a little while? Maybe your partner tells you they love you. They reassure you that everything is okay. They text you back, hold you, or promise they're not going anywhere. For a moment, you feel relief. Then the anxiety returns. If you've ever wondered, "Why do I keep needing reassurance, even in healthy relationships?" this course is for you. In this 3-day course, you'll explore why reassurance never creates lasting security, why uncertainty feels so unbearable, and how many of the stories you tell yourself about your partner actually point toward parts of yourself asking to be seen and healed. Unlike traditional anxious attachment courses, this isn't just about understanding your patterns intellectually. Through guided somatic movement, body awareness, and embodied reflection, you'll learn to stay with your emotions instead of immediately reaching for reassurance, tolerate uncertainty instead of trying to control it, and reconnect with the parts of yourself you've spent a lifetime searching for in someone else. You'll leave this course with a new understanding of anxious attachment—not as a relationship problem to fix, but as an invitation to come home to the parts of yourself you've been asking someone else to hold.

Orit Krug, MS, BC-DMT, LCAT, is a board-certified dance/movement therapist specializing in trauma, attachment patterns, and embodied nervous-system change. She has over 16 years of clinical experience helping individuals shift deeply ingrained emotional and relational patterns through somatic work. Her work is grounded in a core clinical principle: insight alone does not create lasting change. Sustainable transformation requires the capacity to stay present with internal experience, especially during emotional activation and relational uncertainty. Through her online courses and immersive in-person retreats, Orit has supported thousands of individuals worldwide in significantly reducing anxious attachment behaviors, improving emotional regulation under stress, and cultivating more secure, stable relationships.

Lesson 2

Breaking The Reassurance Loop: Resting in Ambiguity

When anxious attachment is triggered, your mind wants answers. It searches for certainty, fills in the gaps, and tries to predict what will happen next. But what if the anxiety isn't coming from not knowing—it's coming from your inability to tolerate not knowing? In this lesson, you'll discover why ambiguity feels so threatening to the nervous system, how it keeps you trapped in the reassurance loop, and a simple somatic practice to help you stop chasing certainty and start finding peace within the unknown.

Lesson 3

Come Home to Yourself: Meet The Part of You That Reassurance Replaced

For many people with anxious attachment, reassurance isn't just about feeling better—it's a way of escaping emotions that once felt too overwhelming to face alone. In this final lesson, you'll learn how to stop abandoning yourself in moments of fear and begin offering your younger, more vulnerable parts what they've been seeking from the outside all along. Through a guided somatic practice, you'll build the capacity to stay with your feelings, deepen self-trust, and experience a more lasting sense of wholeness.
