We live in an era of self development and positive psychology and that is wonderful but if we are accustomed to having feelings of low self esteem than we can begin to use tools that were intended for self help as ways to 'fix' or mend ourselves as though we were broken. This course takes a look at how we can replace the habit of seeking out flaws about ourselves and trying to 'fix' them and instead change the lens through which we view ourselves.


Meet your Teacher

Kiran is an artist, writer and creative mentor working under the name of Illustrating Rain. Both through her art and writing she investigates the relationship between the inner and outer worlds. She is inspired by the connection between the patterns and cycles found in nature and within the human mind. She is the creator or The Spirit Of Creating podcast and accompanying book of the same name.

Finding Love For Yourself

If you have created a habit of finding fault with yourself, then this is not a problem. All habits can be removed and replaced. In the final episode we replace this habit with practising a new one of finding aspects you like and love about yourself.

This course has been very enlightening for me. For some time I have been vaguely aware of the fact that everything I do comes from a false idea that I am not good enough and therefore need to work very hard and do the "right things" to be "good." The second day of this course really helped me become fully aware of this false belief and helped me catch those thoughts more often.

The timing of me”finding” this on IT is of course perfect. I ve been doing this fixing all my life. Having grown up the youngest in a critical environment I was always trying to catch up, be seen, avoid criticism. And it’s exhausting. Thanks to this brief yet enlightening course I now see the difference. It might take some time to develop these new habits of self love and self acceptance but I am ready. Thank you for this.
