Meet your Teacher

Kiran is an artist, writer and creative mentor working under the name of Illustrating Rain. Both through her art and writing she investigates the relationship between the inner and outer worlds. She is inspired by the connection between the patterns and cycles found in nature and within the human mind. She is the author of the book The Creative Unlearning which has an accompanying podcast.

Over a lifetime we can become experts at knowing what others want of us, what our societies, cultures and religions require of us. And we offer ourselves up to those expectations regularly. We can end up creating our whole lives around this and in the process we lose sight of our own inner voice, our own needs and dreams.

Creating From Enoughness

We want to begin to embody the changes we wish to make and we can begin that in slow and steady ways. Starting your day with a few moments where you place your hand on your heart and ask what you need today. It could be to take things a little slower than usual, or you may need a spark of joy in the form of connection with nature.
