Through the practices taught in the course, the student will realise that they can step back from over-identifying with their struggles and awaken to great inner peace.


Meet your Teacher

Christopher has practiced meditation at a very serious level, for over two decades. He has taught meditation for eighteen years and is regularly told by his students of the profound impact his teachings have had on their lives. Christopher spent the first fifty years of his life with undiagnosed ADHD and now realises that the difficulties it brought into his life, were a blessing in disguise. He is a strong advocate for meditation as a path to ease suffering.

Lesson 1

The Inner Refuge

This lesson introduces the student to "The Inner Refuge." This is the silent space within us that makes itself known through meditation. Christopher gives a talk about it, then ends with a short meditation practice.

The Inner Refuge Guided Meditation

This guided meditation builds on the previous lesson's teaching. It is designed to lead you into The Inner Refuge as a first-hand experience, so you can get a sense of the freedom it holds.

Lesson 3

Exploring The Internal Universe

This lesson teaches the next stage in the practice, Vedana. This is a Buddhist word and it means feeling tones. It is a very important and often overlooked part of mindfulness practice. When we become more aware of our feeling tones, we can observe our reaction to arising phenomena. This helps us to learn how to let go.

Lesson 4

Long Meditation On "Exploring Your Internal Universe"

This is a guided meditation of almost thirty minutes long. It is the perfect length to take the teaching in at a deep level. The whole course has been building up to this meditation. This is a wisdom practice which can bring about life-changing insights if practised daily.

This was a very nice step by step which finishes with an extended very good themed body scan meditation. I can usually only do 10-15 min so this was AMAZING. the perfect voice and content to push my personal bests with ADHD and meditation.
