Thriving With ADHD Through Mindfulness And Affirmation

With Christopher Manning

ADHD can make life difficult, not because we are flawed but because we are different. It is said by anthropologists that we are hunters trapped in a farmers world. Our fast moving, innovative brains weren’t made to stick to boring, monotonous work, we were made with a brightly burning flame inside our hearts. This first part of this course is designed to strengthen focus, executive function and reduce impulsivity through mindfulness meditation. The second part works on self-compassion to reprogram negative self labels, and then to finish with concentration on all of the benefits that a well-tuned ADHD mind can access.

Meet your Teacher

I have managed my own ADHD for over twenty years through the practices I teach. I have taught meditation for eighteen years and had great success in helping others ease their struggles and thrive in life.

I very much appreciated this as a look at ADHD as a superpower and not a freak attribute. I also really like the guy’s voice, very calming and an excellent presentation. Thank you I will practice this.

This was very positive and I will be doing it again. Although the affirmations would be better split up line by line as most learn best speaking aloud!

I loved this! It really felt real to me, like the creator understands the capabilities we struggle to develop and express. I especially appreciate the idea that my differences are not limitations, but seeds of innovation and possibility.

Thank you Christopher. I’ve not been to see a professional for diagnosis, so I’m only going by my own ADHD self diagnosis at the moment. That being said, this course resonated strongly with me, so that’s saying something right?! Cheers, Nigel
