Pathways Of Peace: The Transformative Power Of Walking Meditation

With Christopher Manning

This course helps you cultivate mindfulness by transforming walking into a meditative practice that enhances your presence, emotional well-being, and mind-body connection. Through guided exercises and reflections, you'll learn practical techniques to integrate walking meditation into your daily routine, bringing you clarity, balance, and peace. The course first teaches traditional walking meditation on a path, and then through guided audio, takes a more contemporary approach as Christopher guides you on a mindful stroll. Christopher finishes the course teaching very useful tips he has discovered over the years, to bring the practice out into the arena of daily life.

Meet your Teacher

Christopher has been on a very profound spiritual journey, with most of his practice taking place in Buddhist monasteries. He battled an intense longing to ordain as a Buddhist monk after a series of spiritual awakenings. By the time he realised this he was already in family life and so instead, devoted his time to guiding others to experience the peace he had awakened in himself. Walking meditation built a beautiful bridge for him, enabling him to root himself in this world, whilst walking in heavenly realms.

I was thrilled to be able to try this practice with your aid and found it demanding – in a really good way. My favourite was the mindful stroll and I am looking forward to further practise it in fresh air. Surprisingly, despite all the distractions in the outside world, I found it easier to concentrate on my feet and body. Thank you very much for the wide range of options you gave (within a "simple" technique and a short, manageable course time) and for enabling participants to go on independently! The final session with easy and doable tips was the perfect close. 💯🌟
