Kamini Desai, PhD is the author of Yoga Nidra; The Art of Transformational Sleep, Director of I AM Education, and developer of the I AM Yoga Nidra app. She is considered an authority in Yoga Nidra, Yoga Therapy and artful living. Her practical and accessible teaching style has been welcomed worldwide and her corporate clients have included Bahamas Princess Resorts, Kellogg’s, KEDS, SONY, and Mars Confectionary among others. Kamini the daughter of one of the original yoga masters to pioneer yoga practice in the west in the 1960s.

So so grateful to have stumbled on your sessions. Your attention to details on tools, practice methods, explanation with simple examples, body scanning were all so connected and easy to follow. I felt small shift on day 2 during body scanning. Definitely a repeat!! Your voice levels (while precised and cleared) were at times shifted higher (my guess was your excitement to share this lession), which got me out of meditated state momentarily but also got me to practice impulse control and help kept me alert while relaxing. Thank you for sharing your insights!

Very good! I’m a big fan and trying to decide if I spend a shedload of money to work with Kamini in London in May 24, just over a month from today. What she says feels impeccable, unshakeable. This is what I love about her. I learn new things from her and she supports the things I already know. Only three stars because I found her voice a bit too swoopy. I’m used to her beautiful Yoga Nidra voice and the high pitched ascents were jarring. Not even a crit of her. It was excitement, I’m guessing. Passion. My voice does the same thing… Feeling encouraged to put my money down and work with her in May, rather than discouraged by this 2 session course. After at least 10 years on Insight Timer (could be 20) I finally pulled my finger out and paid for a month long sub to get through the money gate to more of Kamini.
