This overstimulation can lead to mental fatigue and stress. Yoga Nidra helps in resetting mental focus and rejuvenating physical energy. Through entering a state between wakefulness and sleep deep the mind gets a chance to rest - recharging mental clarity and focus . By calming the mind, Yoga Nidra can foster a sense of equanimity, making it easier to approach problems with a balanced and clear mind.

Transcript

As we enter into Yoga Nidra now,

Adjust your body as you need to to be comfortable,

But as best as possible remain relaxed and motionless,

Alert and conscious.

Stay in touch with my guidance at all times.

Now shift from thinking and doing to feeling and being.

Do absolutely nothing from now on.

Drop into the deepest state of tranquility,

Stillness,

And peace.

Now you are in direct communion with your energy body.

Now become aware of the subtle movement of breath in and out.

And slowly deepen your inhalations and exhalations without any struggle or effort.

Breath flowing in a steady,

Unbroken stream.

Notice the expansion and contraction of your abdomen as you breathe in and out.

And with each progressive exhalation,

Breathe out any holding or tension in the body.

Let go.

We will continue with five more breaths.

Count them like this.

Five,

I am breathing in.

Five,

I am breathing out.

Four,

I am breathing in.

Four,

I am breathing out.

And continue on your own,

Absorbed in the sound of your own breath.

Stop counting and allow your breath to return to normal.

Feel the energetic impact of the breath in the form of pulsations in the body.

Awareness growing and expanding.

Now follow my guidance as we move our awareness through different parts of the body.

As I guide you from point to point,

The energy of your attention will activate these centers and release any blockages.

As I guide you,

Remain in non-doing,

Silent awareness,

Resolving to yourself that you will stay alert and awake.

Now bring your undivided attention to the brow center.

Point between the eyebrows.

Bring your attention to the pit of the throat.

Right shoulder.

Right elbow.

Right wrist.

Right thumb.

Right index finger.

Right middle finger.

Right ring finger.

Right little finger.

Right wrist.

Right elbow.

Right shoulder.

Pit of the throat.

Left shoulder.

Left elbow.

Left wrist.

Left thumb.

Left index finger.

Left middle finger.

Left ring finger.

Left little finger.

Left wrist.

Left elbow.

Left shoulder.

Pit of the throat.

Middle of the chest.

Right nipple.

Middle of the chest.

Left nipple.

Middle of the chest.

Navel point.

Middle of the pubic bone.

Right hip.

Right knee.

Right ankle.

Right big toe.

Right second toe.

Right third toe.

Right fourth toe.

And right fifth toe.

Right ankle.

Right knee.

Right hip.

Middle of the pubic bone.

Left hip.

Left knee.

Left ankle.

Left big toe.

Left second toe.

Left third toe.

Left fourth toe.

And left fifth toe.

Left ankle.

Left knee.

Left hip.

Middle of the pubic bone.

Navel point.

Middle of the chest.

Pit of the throat.

And back to the brow center.

Simply allow all of your awareness to rest at the brow center.

Vast stillness and silence.

Resting in this vastness.

Allowing whatever comes into your field of awareness to come and go.

Like clouds in the sky.

Allowing whatever comes into your field of awareness to be present without judgment or comment.

Simply coming and going.

Like clouds on the sky.

Letting your undivided attention continue to rest in the spot between your eyebrows.

Merging into this space.

Empty.

All past.

All future.

All thoughts dissolving back into stillness.

If at this time you have an intention,

Or if you have a self-defeating pattern or habit that you want to be freed from,

Just formulate that into an intention.

That which you know yourself to be.

That which you release yourself from.

And repeating this intention three times.

Allowing this to go to the deepest levels of recognition without any hesitation.

Know that your intention has been heard and is being acted upon by the higher power,

The Source within.

No need to do anything about it.

Now simply allow your entire self,

Every cell of your body,

To respond spontaneously and effortlessly to the following affirmations.

I experience the infinite potential unfolding from within me.

My Source is silent stillness.

I am free and clear of all that has happened in the past.

I am presence.

I see,

Feel,

And experience all things as they are.

I reside in restful awareness.

I am completely at peace with myself as I am,

And the world as it is.

Establish yourself now firmly in faith and trust to receive the guidance of the higher self within you.

Now you've prepared the base from which you can carry out interactions with life,

Interpersonal relationships,

With integration,

With love,

Guided from your inner Source.

The more often you go to your Source,

The easier it will be to return,

The longer you will stay.

Carry this sense of stillness,

Of peace,

Everywhere you go,

To everyone you meet.

At this time,

If you have an area that you feel needs healing,

Whether it's physical,

Mental,

Or emotional,

Just allow this light,

Love,

To flow into that area now,

Consciously directing your energy to any area that needs healing,

Resolution.

Now gradually,

Begin to move as if you're waking up from a restful sleep,

Moving fingers and toes,

Perhaps bending your knees,

Pulling them close to your chest,

And gently rocking side to side,

Stretching the arms and legs,

Just take your time.

And then as you're ready,

Turning to your right side,

Curled in a fetal position,

Sensing the protection,

The comfort of the womb of existence.

You might bring your attention into your awareness once again,

Knowing that every time you find yourself in reaction,

You can replace it with your intention.

Know that regardless of what you consciously recognize that has or hasn't changed,

Know that something deep within has shifted to connect you with this intention.

And now gradually beginning to sit up with your eyes closed,

Remaining deeply rooted in this experience,

Notice how relaxed the body is,

How soft the breath is,

How silent the mind is,

And simply rest in awareness.

Know that you can easily enter this state again and again.

And as you feel ready,

You may open your eyes.
