This course introduces you to the mental habits that perpetuate stress and anxiety. Each module has two parts: instruction and experience. Each 1-5 minute talk is followed by a guided I AM Yoga Nidra experience designed to target these tendencies with the use of affirmations, intentions, and specific yoga nidra techniques that help actively build your resilience to stress and create greater immunity to anxiety. You will learn techniques to redirect and ground the anxious mind and interrupt the momentum of stress both in practice and throughout your day. Each lesson ranges between 18-21 minutes in length. This course will: • Help you navigate your day with great mental and emotional balance • Allow you to power through your day with greater ease • Increase your mental and emotional resilience in times of stress • Increase self-awareness • Promote rest and rejuvenation • Support stronger vagal tone and your ability to withstand the demands of life Content is appropriate for beginners and experienced practioners alike and is ideal for building inspiration into your personal practice. Meet your Teacher

Kamini Desai, Ph.D. is the Director of I AM Education and author of Yoga Nidra: The Art of Transformational Sleep. She is considered an authority in Yoga Nidra, Yoga Therapy, and artful living and has been teaching worldwide for the past 35 years. Her practical and accessible teaching style has been welcomed in various government, corporate, and educational settings. Her corporate clients have included Bahamas Princess Resorts, Kellogg’s, KEDS, SONY, and Mars Confectionary among others. Kamini is the daughter of one of the original yoga masters to pioneer yoga practice in the West in the 1960s. She is an E-RYT 500 and an 800hr Accredited Yoga Therapist through the IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapists).

In this class, we explore the role of uncontrolled imagination and how it contributes to stress and anxiety. Fragmentation

Relaxation is available at any moment if we know how to access it, however, the habit of the mind is to look to the future or get lost in the past and therefore we miss the potential for intrinsic fulfillment that is available in the present moment.
