Michelle DuVal, MA, is the leading provider of mindfulness trainings in the Southwest US, and the founder of The Mindful Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. All of her programs and guided meditations are evidence based, steeped in research, and skillfully interweave the profundity of the practice with the humor of insight every step of the way. Her skill in teaching comes not only from training with some of the top meditation masters in the world, but also from years of learning, practicing, and teaching with her father, Jim DuVal, who began teaching Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) 30 years ago when his own meditation practice literally saved his life. Michelle is one of the only second generation MBSR instructors in the world.

As a person with GAD, I don’t sleep well. I regularly wake up 4-5 times throughout the night, every night. This mediation has helped me countless times. It helps clear the mind so you can drift back to sleep and hopefully maximize your sleeping hours. I’ve come to rely on this meditation!
