Lektion 1
Defusing Anxiety
In this first lesson of the DARE Method, you will learn to understand your anxiety rather than fight against it. We defuse anxiety by exploring it more deeply—your thoughts, physical reactions, and common patterns such as freeze, flight, or fawn—and discover how mindful observation and cognitive distancing can reduce its power over you. A short practice exercise will help you strengthen your ability to see anxious thoughts for what they really are: thoughts, not facts.
Lektion 2
Allowing Anxiety & Moving Toward It
In this lesson, you will discover the strength that comes from no longer suppressing anxiety, but instead consciously allowing it. Through mindful acceptance (“Allow”) and actively moving toward your fear (“Run Toward”), you’ll learn how anxiety loses its sense of threat and how you grow stronger from within. With a guided exercise, you will practice approaching your fear in a safe and supportive way—taking the first real step toward freedom.
Lektion 3
Engaging In Life - Despite Anxiety
In this final lesson, the focus is on reconnecting with life—even if anxiety is still present. You will learn how small, compassionate actions can increase your sense of safety in daily life and show your body: I am ready to re-engage. Engage doesn’t mean performing perfectly, but gently guiding yourself back into the here and now—with connection, joy, and a renewed sense of agency.
