Hello and a warm welcome.
No matter how you are feeling right now,
You are here and that's enough for the moment.
Maybe you are exhausted,
Maybe you are wondering when you'll finally feel normal again.
Maybe the path back into everyday life feels endlessly far away.
But I want you to know that right now you don't have to do anything.
You don't have to fight,
You don't have to function,
You don't have to feel better or to be productive right away.
This time right here belongs to you and only to you.
Just be for this moment.
Just breathe.
Breathe in gently through your nose and out slowly through your mouth.
Let your forehead soften completely.
Let your jaw release any remaining pressure,
Any lingering tension.
Just surrender.
Tension often settles in our neck too.
So take a moment now to feel into what movements your neck might enjoy.
Maybe you want to gently turn your head,
Maybe massage your neck a little.
Everything is allowed.
This is just about being here for yourself and for what you need in this very moment.
If you want to,
You can start to notice the ground beneath you.
Feel your two strong feet carrying you through the day or the weight of your body resting on whatever is holding you right now.
If thoughts arise,
Just notice them.
They're like passing clouds,
Nothing more.
Burnout or strong fatigue aren't just exhaustion.
They often come with an inner pressure to finally feel capable again,
Active again,
Like your old self again.
But paradoxically,
It's exactly that pressure that often makes it so hard to truly come back.
Healing doesn't happen at the push of a button.
Healing is a process and it rarely leads us back to the exact version of ourselves we once were.
But you know what?
Maybe that's the point.
Because if we returned to the exact same patterns,
The exact same life,
We wouldn't have grown.
Instead,
We are invited to read the signals of our body differently and in a new way.
And to make more conscious decisions going forward.
Decisions that support us in living a life more in alignment with our needs and values.
So I want you to remember this.
The next time you feel that inner pressure to be like you used to be,
The real goal is not to go back,
But to grow into a new version of yourself.
A version that no longer puts herself under pressure or lets herself be pressured.
So allow yourself now with every breath to let go of that pressure.
In through your nose and out through your mouth.
Very well.
Imagine that with every exhale you're releasing the urge to be fast,
To perform.
Your body already knows the way back to what's good for it.
Trust it.
You don't need to push.
Simply learn to listen.
Now come back to your breath and take one more deep inhale and a slow,
Soft exhale.
Let the following words sink in deeply and repeat them to yourself whenever you might need them throughout your day.
I don't have to function right away.
I'm exactly where I'm meant to be.
My strength will return in its own time.
I trust my body and I thank my body for protecting me.
And when you're ready,
Gently return to your day in your pace and your own way.
Thank you for being here and thank you for your trust.
Take good care of yourself.
Until next time,
Melina.
