Lesson 1

Myth One: The World Can Make Me Feel Stressed

Do you believe that the world is inherently stressful? In this first lesson, you'll discover that the world 'out there' can't make you feel a certain way. You'll start to understand that there is a hidden and invisible variable that impacts the way you experience life. Today Liz will introduce you to the simple and transformational metaphor of Red and Green Thinking.

Lesson 2

Myth Two: I Should Feel Happy All Of The Time

When you see beyond the myth 'I should feel happy all of the time' you'll experience freedom. Humans aren't designed to feel happy all of the time. You are designed to experience a spectrum of thinking and feeling. It's so helpful to realise that your feelings aren't telling you about what is going on in the world, your feelings are giving you great information about your mood in the now. It is your mood that impacts your experience of the world.

Lesson 3

Myth Three: I Should Think Positively

If you try to think positively all of the time you'll end up feeling mentally exhausted. You aren't designed to think positively all of the time, you are designed to experience a whole range of emotions. When you realise that your moods are constantly changing, you'll stop trying to change them and instead you'll become curious about understanding your moods and emotions.

Lesson 4

Myth Four: People Can Make Me Feel A Certain Way

Can people really make you feel a certain way? Today you'll see that it is not the other person that makes you feel distressed, it's the story you have about their behaviour that causes the distress. This doesn't mean you need to accept bad behaviour - this is all about realising that your distress isn't generated from someone on the outside, your distress happens because of your stories.

Lesson 5

Myth Five: I Need To Try Harder To Feel Peaceful

Do you find yourself trying hard to be a better person and to feel peaceful? A lot of Self-Development invites you to try harder to be a better person. What if that wasn't necessary? Rather than trying hard to access peace-of-mind allow your mind to settle naturally. Allow peace-of-mind to arise in you.

Lesson 6

Myth Six: I Can Be Psychologically Damaged For Life

When you start to identify with who you truly are rather than identifying with your thoughts and feelings, then you start to unlock the most powerful secret to life. Today you'll discover what is meant by your 'Inner Diamond of Resilience and Wellbeing'. Your Inner Diamond represents the ever-present qualities of flow, love and presence that you have in your life. Reflect on your own Inner Diamond, what qualities represent your Inner Diamond?

Lesson 7

Myth Seven: I Need To Build Resilience

Everyone in the world is built of resilience. Instead of looking at ways of building resilience consider how you might look within to tap into resilience. Today I'm asking you to see resilience in a different way, don't see it as something to build up, instead see it as your Inner Diamond, showing you how to take the next step.

Lesson 8

Myth Eight: We Are All Separate

It is easy to believe that we are all individuals having a separate human experience. But today I'd like you to be curious about your true nature. Today we explore how we are all created from the same source, from the energy of life itself. When we forget our true source we can feel frightened and want to attack others, when we remember who we are then we feel a sense of connection, love, kindness and compassion.

Lesson 9

Myth Nine: I Need To Use Tools And Techniques To Feel Better

Are you a perpetual seeker and always trying to become a better person? If you see yourself as constantly needing self-improvement then you always be developing yourself. There is nothing wrong with tools and techniques, however, if you have the wrong starting point then they aren't helpful. Today we explore the right starting point.

Lesson 10

Myth Ten: My Thinking Is True

What if you didn't have to believe to your thinking - regardless of whether it was negative or positive? What if happiness wasn't linked to your thinking? Today Liz will help you listen beyond your thinking - you'll start to listen to your Inner Diamond.

Lesson 11

Myth Eleven: I Need To Help People

Do you believe that people need to be rescued, that they need your help? What if you started to realise that people don't need to be fixed; all they need is to be heard. When someone is heard then they are able to hear their own wisdom and they are able to hear beyond the noise of their thinking.

Lesson 12

Myth Twelve: It Take Years Of Practice To Feel Peaceful

Peace-of-mind is available right now, it isn't something you need to work on. Today we see how peace-of-mind might look different to what you first thought. Peace-of-mind doesn't mean you'll always feel peaceful. Peace-of-mind means that you'll be able to stay in the present moment, regardless of the circumstances.

Thank you so much Liz for sharing with me your life learning around happiness. Like you, my soul has been searching for well being and happiness all my life. Being aware of my true nature (your metaphor of our inner diamond), my connection to life, my wholesomeness (as opposed to my duality which I also know very well) brings me a peace of mind, a certain contentment which I can call today happiness. It doesn’t mean that I don’t struggle with grief, loneliness, fear, disappointment, etc. Your wisdom shared in words with me these last few days is helping me in a very practical way when I feel unsettled, which is quite often. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and may you be blessed with happiness.

Much to ponder in this course that’s worthy of my deepest consideration! Liz presents material with love and humility that keeps me engaged and connected to the end. And the not-religious-but still very spiritual underpinning of the course resonates. Thank you! 🙏🏼
