Learn & Chant Vighneśvaram Bhajore Mānasa For Clarity & Inner Alignment

With Monika Loe

This course is an invitation to meet obstacles differently — with clarity, steadiness, and inner alignment — through the Gaṇeśa mantra Vighneśvaram Bhajore Mānasa – Vighnaharam Bhajore. This mantra is traditionally associated with Gaṇeśa, not as a figure to worship, but as a quality of awareness we can cultivate: the ability to recognise obstacles, orient inwardly, and respond from a grounded, steady inner space. Across three sessions, we move gently from understanding, to embodied pronunciation, to lived chanting practice. You’ll begin by meeting the meaning of the mantra and listening to its sound. Then we’ll explore how the words are formed and felt in the body — allowing chanting to become easier and more natural. And finally, we’ll let the mantra flow more freely, supported by breath, humming, rhythm, and repetition. You don’t need any previous experience. You don’t need to get anything right. You’re invited to chant aloud, hum softly, or simply listen — and let the sound meet you where you are. You can move through the sessions in order, or return to them whenever you feel called.

Meet your Teacher

Monika is a yoga and meditation teacher, mantra guide, and sound healing practitioner dedicated to supporting inner clarity, steadiness, and embodied awareness through sound and breath. Rooted in the yogic mantra tradition and the practice of Nāda Yoga, her work invites listeners to experience mantra not as something to perform, but as a gentle process of listening, repetition, and inner alignment. Her teaching emphasizes accessibility and lived experience, allowing sound to become a natural support for calming the nervous system, focusing the mind, and reconnecting with inner orientation. With a warm and grounded approach, Monika creates spaces where chanting becomes a meditative practice — helping practitioners meet challenges with presence, clarity, and steadiness, both within practice and in everyday life.

Lesson 1

Meaning & Listening – Turning the Mind Toward Clarity

In this first session, we gently explore the meaning of the mantra and its connection to clarity, steadiness, and inner alignment. You’ll be introduced to the words of the mantra and the inner orientation they invite — not as something to analyse, but as a direction the mind can softly turn toward. From there, we move into listening, allowing the mantra to be received through sound and vibration rather than effort or repetition. As the mantra is chanted, you’re invited to simply listen or follow inwardly, noticing how sound creates space in the breath, the mind, and the body. This session lays the foundation for the next step, where we’ll explore pronunciation and begin chanting the words together more actively. Mantra (IAST): Vighneśvaram Bhajore Mānasa Vighnaharam Bhajore Vighneśvaram — the one who sees obstacles clearly. Vighnaharam — the one who gently removes them. Bhajore — an invitation to turn toward, to remember, to align. Mānasa — with the mind, the heart, the inner attitude. This mantra is not about force. It is about meeting what is present with clarity, presence, and trust.

Lesson 2

Pronunciation & Sound Awareness – Chanting from the Body

In this second session, we explore the pronunciation of the mantra and how its sounds are felt and embodied in the body. Together, we move slowly through the key sounds of the mantra, with special attention to the labial sounds such as v, bh, and m, allowing the lips, breath, and voice to work together naturally. Rather than trying to make the sounds perfect, the intention is to let chanting become easier, steadier, and more relaxed. Step by step, the words begin to move from speech into sound, as we gently chant together and notice how the mantra resonates through breath, body, and awareness. This session prepares the ground for the final practice, where the mantra can flow more freely through rhythm and repetition.

Lesson 3

Letting the Mantra Flow – Chanting & Integration

In this final session, we allow everything explored so far to settle into the rhythm and flow of the mantra. Supported by breath, humming, and steady repetition, we move into a continuous chanting practice where the mantra can unfold naturally. The focus shifts from learning to experiencing — allowing sound, rhythm, and vibration to guide the mind into steadiness and ease. You’re invited to chant aloud, hum softly, or simply rest in the sound as the mantra begins to feel more familiar and effortless. This session offers space for integration, allowing the mantra to become a lived experience that supports clarity, presence, and inner alignment beyond the practice itself.
