Meet your Teacher

Alice Langholt is a parent, author and Reiki Master Teacher, and a Certified Practitioner of EFT and Introspective Hypnosis. She is the Executive Director of Reiki Awakening Academy. Alice has a Ph.D. in Metaphysical Parapsychology, and Master’s degrees in Jewish Studies and Metaphysical Science. She has written 23 books on holistic subjects. In the Washington, DC Metro area, Alice teaches Animal Reiki at Montgomery College, has a Reiki practice in Gaithersburg, MD, and is also a wedding officiant.

Lesson 1

The Power Of Bilateral Stimulation

This tool utilizes a simple technique derived from the therapy called EMDR, which stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It's a method that is commonly used for treatment of trauma. This tool I'm going to teach you can be done at any time, can be self-administered, and has very rapid results. This lesson includes information about how it works, how to use it, and a guided practice to try it out. It's a very powerful tool to induce a state of calm in moments.

Lesson 2

Bilateral Tapping

In this lesson, you'll learn a way to activate the bilateral stimulation response by physically tapping in a left-right rapidly shifting pattern. You'll be introduced to two variations on how to do this, and have a guided practice for each one, so you can experience them all and choose which feels most effective for you.

Lesson 3

Faster Tapping

This lesson introduces you to a different brain-based technique for clearing the intensity of stress. It's based on EFT, Emotional Freedom Technique, and yet it is a simple version that's easy to recall in the moment, and fast-acting on stress. You'll find yourself calmer in just a few minutes, or even shorter amounts of time. This is actually my favorite way to clear emotional intensity, and it even works on physical discomforts such as pain or itching.
