Today we're going to review the idea that worry is just an unimportant story.

A story that we are creating some possible scary outcome for something that hasn't happened yet.

Okay,

We are imagining something and then thinking about it with stress and fear.

Worry is absolutely unimportant,

Irrelevant,

Not helpful,

And we want to completely dismiss and stop doing this.

Okay,

So it's a natural thing to worry.

A lot of people worry,

Okay,

But again the more that we can train our minds to not do that,

The better life feels.

We are in the moment and we are perfectly okay in this moment and that's where we want to stay.

If you catch yourself worrying about something,

I want you to notice it and then say,

Oh that is unimportant.

Unimportant is the label we're going to put on a worry.

That's unimportant.

Only thing there is to do is to think about the best possible outcome and send it out as the order to the universe.

That's the one.

Not worrying about how is it going to get here,

How's it going to happen,

Oh my gosh,

I don't believe it's only small percent that that's possible,

Oh no no.

No self-limiting thoughts.

You're all unimportant.

Boom.

As soon as we label something unimportant,

The mind goes,

Oh okay,

And goes somewhere else and we already know where we want it to go to the best possible outcome.

So when you catch yourself worrying about something,

I want you to notice it and say to yourself,

That's unimportant.

Because if it's important,

Like you'll handle it right now.

If there's something to do that's important,

You just do it right now.

So this is not important.

Worrying doesn't create importance,

It only makes us feel stressed,

Which is definitely not important.

Okay?

So play with this.

Use the word unimportant today to cancel your worries and let me know how it's going.

Okay?

Go for it.

I love the idea of using the word unimportant! And at the same time I feel like there are many things that are on my plate that are important and deciphering not to worry about the important stuff is where I get caught up. I know it could all have a great outcome , 3-4 months down the road however right now it’s about making the decisions and making those decisions create my worry as in is this the right decision will it look OK, etc. so for today I will look at it as what is important and what is not as important and utilize “unimportant”for the small things, they keep me bogged down, overworked, and stressed! I think it was Mark Twain who said that worry was like paying a debt you don't yet owe. Thank you 🙏

How true often what we see as important and worry about, is often found to be to be nothing to have worried about in the first instance. What a relief that can often be!

Interesting take on worry—instead of looking deeply into it, ignore it? Does that really help or does it just sublimate the worry to come back again stronger? Believe me, it’s tempting to think worry will subside by labeling it unimportant….
