There are two traits of human beings. We all have the capacity to imagine and dream. We can conjure up ideas of how we would like to live and the things that we would love to do. And yet, another trait is one of the familiar habits and predictable patterns that we fall into. We deepen our own mental grooves through repetition. The key is to find a way to incorporate changes into our daily routines.
Kiran is an artist, writer, and creative mentor working under the name of Illustrating Rain. Through her art and writing, she investigates the relationship between the inner and outer worlds. She is inspired by the connection between the patterns and cycles found in nature and within the human mind. If you were to take a birds eye view of your day to day life, you would see an array of patterns. They would be persistent and repeated and you would be able to ascertain what they were even if a stranger was observing them.

There is this polarising view that if we want to make any changes in our lives that we have to step out of any and every comfort zone that we are in and make radical shifts. As though if we aren’t in a state of discomfort, then we aren’t doing change in the prescribed manner.
